The school begins each day at 10 a. m. Miss Doolittle, who is the instruc tor, will have wire, milliners’ need les, shellac, materials to clean fea thers and ribbons, oil paints to re tint flowers, also buckram. She will give instructions on renovation chiefly, such as cleaning and bleach ing various kinds of white hats, such as leghorn, milan, etc. She will help the women with facings and trimmings, but it will be necessary for the women to bring their own flowers, ribbons, thread and thim- bles. There will be no charge for instructions, but a small fee will be charged to cover the cost of mater ials that the women use. Each woman who brings a hat to renovate should also bring a small scrub brush, a nail or tooth brush and a small dish or bowl in which to put the material she is using for renovating. Dan Parker has accepted the posi tion of ditch rider for the east end. The making of dress forms by Miss May Harmon, which will be the last for the season, was in progress at the home of Mrs. Geo. Beddow last Saturday. Luncheon was served at the home of Mrs. Anna Sapper for the party and a pleasant hour spent, after which the work was resumed. On account of the millinery school to be held in Hermiston next week there will be no meeting of the Neighborhood Club. The time of the next meeting will be in these col umns next week.
