Larson and little son were guests al the country home north of town of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Stewart last Sunday. W. S. Baker and daughter Mary, who had been guests at the Hermiston Hotel several days last week, returned home to Portland last Saturday. Leroy Sullivan, who has been in Portland the past month in the employ of the municipal government of that city, came home Wednesday morning. Mrs. Short and daughter came from the coast and are guests this week at the Hermiston Hotel. Mrs. Short is a sister of Mrs Durfey, the proprietor. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ranney and daughter and Mrs. Bell and little son. all of Stanfield, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Mathison at Lane Lake. Miss Ethel Graham, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. T. A. Graham, arrived home last Saturday from Tacoma. Wash., where sho had been spending the summer with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. E. E Smith and fam ily, who left here early in the spring to take up their residence in Califor- nia, have returned to Oregon, and are now residing in Portland. Mrs. O. P. Brigham and daughter Janice of Hermiston, have been guests this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. D. Brigham, says the Tekoa (Wash.) Blade. B. S.
