That is the selection of the corps of teachers for next year. This work has been made especially easy through the teachers themselves in the excellent satisfaction given and their willingness to remain. Every teacher, from primary to superintendent, with one exception, a-ked for a contract for another year. The board showed its appreciation of the good work done by accepting all. The one exception was R. H. Spencer, one of the high school instructors. The question of a successor for Mr. Spencer is alili unsettled, as is also the matter of an additional grade teacher. Should the enrollment be no greater next year than this the board will doubtless try to arrange the rooms with no increase in teachers.
