GRESHAM COLUMBIA HEIGHTS T he benefit entertain m en t at Colum bian high school last F riday w as a splendid success, "both socially and financially and all th e proceeds w ere tu rn ed over to th e Bram building fund com m ittee. Much deserved credit is due the te ac h ers in the com m unity who got up such a fine program in the length of tim e they did, less th an 10 days, and th e children w ent a t it w ith w hole-souled enthusiasm , as no doubt they had in m ind th e little B ram ch il dren who lost th e ir m other in the fire th a t destroyed a ll they had of w orldly goods. Mr. Bram expressed his g ra ti tude and th a t of his children to every one who took p a rt in the program and to all of th e people in th is com m unity who assisted him in his trouble. to an all fools' p arty to be given on th e 2d day of A pril. A very enjoyable tim e was spent and several qu ilt o rd ers w ere w orked on.
