Before going Mr. L eslie attem p ted to build a Are, but could get no d ra ft, becau se th e m ov ing of th e house th a t day had Ailed th e chim ney w ith soot. H e decided to w ait until m orning and clean th e chim ney before kindling a Are. A fter leaving th e house th e Are sta rte d and b urned out th e accum ulation of soot.
