CHOCOLATE DOUGHNUTS 2 tablespoons Am aizo 2A cup sugar teaspoon salt teaspoon nutm eg '/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 oz. (2 squares) m elted chocolate o r 6 tablespoons cocoa 1 cup milk 3 cups flour 3 teaspoons Royal Baking P o w d er OU pour exactly the right amount of Amaizo into the frying pan or the measur ing spoon—you don’t dig a chunk from its container, then wait for it to melt, or mash it into a measure. Y Mix th e A m aizo and sugar together; add th e salt,nutm eg, vanilla and m elted choco late (cooled); then add th e milk. Add the flour and baking p ow der w hich have been sifted together; roll out on slightly floured board V4 inch thick. C ut out and fry to a light brow n in deep A m aizo hot enough to bro w n a piece of bread in 60 seconds (375° F .). D rain well and sprinkle w ith pow dered su g ar ju st before serving. Amaizo fries quickly, evenly, beautifully. It does not smoke at cooking tem perature. It does not carry the flavor of one food to another, so it may be used over and over.
