Sunday afternoon about 60 m em b ers of the local Odd F ellow s and Re- b akah lodges visited th e I. O. O. F. hom e in P o rtlan d . A new b u ild ing is being erected for th e g irls and younger children. M atron C h arlo tte W oodman said th a t even with th is splendid building th e re would h ardly be room enough to accom m odate all th e ap p lic a n ts for adm ission. At pres ent th e re a re 83 people being cared for. T he youngest a little fellow of about th ree, th e eldest a b rig h t cheery lady of 93. T he G resham m em bers enjoyed th e ir visit very m uch and were g re a tly pleased w ith th is splen did m em orial of O ddfellowshlp. Mr. and Mrs. Em ory Roberts and son Em ory Ju n io r a re vlsitinr w ith th e fo rm er's p aren ts. Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Roberts. Mr. R oberts is teaching civil engineering at O. A. C. and is spending his E aster vacation here. T he Rev. A. S. Hlsey left thia m o rn ing for Pusco, W ashington, w here he will m eet o th e r m in isters who a re on a conference boundary board and who will estab lish some new boundaries. Mrs. C. A. Hill, who has been ill at her home for m any m onths, is able to be ubout again. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Cone have r e turn ed to Lone Rock a fte r a w eek's visit with relativ es here and in P o rt land. Raymond, who bus been In P ortland all w inter, drove to Lone Rock recen tly and brought his p aren ts back. H eT trove back w ith them and w ill stay. It is expected th a t the w hole fam ily will re tu rn to G resham In Septem ber. Adolph N elson and fam ily from O berlin, K ansas, have moved to G resh am and occupy one of F ran k H elney's houses on T hird street. They have bought th ree lots on Cleveland avenue and plan to build soon. Mr. and'M rs. A. J. S tout have moved from Hoff, Oregon, to th e ir place near Hogan station. T heir son F ran cis is a stu d e n t at W ashington high school in P ortland. T heir son Max has en te re d th e G resham grad e school. A rth u r W. P ark er, who Is employed as a tim ber scaler at West T im ber, spent last week-end w ith his fam ily In G resham . T he A rem e club dance given last F riday evening w as one of th e most successful of th e season. A large crow d w as In atten d a n ce and all r e ported a tine tim e.
