"APHRODITE,” which created such a furore in New York a season ago at the Century T heater in th a t city, and which was the sensation of P aris when originally presented there prior to its New York production. We have Just completed arrangem ents with Messrs. F. Ray Com stock and Morris Gest whereby this gigantic offering is all of its O riental beauty -and magnificence will be presented at the HEILIG THEATER three nights, beginning Thursday, November 10, w ith a special price m atinee Saturday. Theater-goers who keep in touch with theati+cal events do not need to be reminded of the extraordinary demand for seats which took place in New York when "AphrodRe” was first presented. Tickets were eagerly bought up by speculators who sold them for as high as $200 each for "the opening night. The newspapers de clared the play a sensation. The theater was packed to the doors for the entire season and thousands of people were turned away during the extraordinary New York engagement. Now Messrs. Comstock and Gest are presenting "A phrodite" on tour with this enormous company of 200 people, with 10 big scenes. "A phrodite” when done In P aris was hailed as the world's greatest and most sensational play. It has since duplicated th a t success in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Boston.
