A t the Salina, Kansas. Demonstration in 1918 it proved th at it can average 1 1-10 acres per hour on 1.62 gal. of kerosene plowing gumbo under an average draw bar pull of 1015 pounds. It has a four cylinder Case Valve-in-head Motor set cross wise upon a one i piece cast main frame. Thi __ _ affords the use ok of all , cut steel spur gears and prevents disalignment of shaft's, gears and bearings. All of these important parts are thor oughly enclosed and run in oil. The friction clutch belt pulley is mounted on the crank shaft and conveniently located for belting up to any machine. The Motor has a removable head also ~ in supported by a four " piece ** cast frame, Core driv— by L---- ' ‘ gears enclosed. The The fan is driven spiral safety fan hub prevents damage to these gears when staging. No fan belt or chain to look after. The Sylphon Thermostat regulates the cooling system. Water circulation is insured by a centrifugal pump. This controlled cooling device maintains proper temperature of water to keep the motor hot thereby assuring thor ough combustion and prevents raw fuel pass ing by tho pistons or diluting tho oil in crank case. The Case Air Washer permits only clean, moist air entering carburetor, consequently no dust can enter the cylinders. This means a long lived motor. This tractor weighs only 3400 lbs.
