Troutdale Terry TROUTDALE, Dec. 1.— Mrs. Geo. Lumsden gave a tea on Wednesday afternoon for the benefit of the La dles’ Aid society. Born, November 27, to Mr. and Mrs. I. J. Bradshaw, a daughter. Miss Della Zimmerman, who attending Monmouth Normal spent Thanksgving with her parents. Wordie Inglis and family, of Can ada, have been the guests of his grandmother, Mrs. Light. Miss Myrtle Wallace, of Linne- neman station, spent Saturday with her friends here. Orval Douglass and wife, of Port land, have been the guests of Mrs. Fred Zimmerman. TROUTDALE, Dec. 4—The Ladies' Aid society met with Mrs. Lida Sur- ber on Wednesday afternoon. The hours were passed in quilting after which refreshments were served. Troutdale feels quite proud of having the honors of having elected a lady for mayor at Tuesday's election when Mrs. J. Alfred Larsson was chosen with a majority of five over S. A. Edmundson. Mrs. Larsson will be the second lady mayor to serve in the state of Oregon. Weekly Oregonion subscription of fer extended. Mr. and Mrs. E.
