Jackson, of Cottrell, gave a dinner to a few being in honor of the ninety-second birthday of Mrs. Jackson's mother, ! friends last Tuesday, the event Mrs. M. L. Jaynes. Quite a number of people expect to attend the Luther League con vention which will be held at Hock inson, Wash., Aug. 17 and 17. The Missionary society will meet at the home of Mr. and Mrs Frank Stafanson, Wednesday, Aug 13, at 2 o'clock. Everybody cordially invited A mission meeting will be held at the Swedish Lutheran church next week, beginning Sunday evening.
