A deputy made contact with the reporting party and provided them with the con- tact number for Fuzzball Rescue. - A dog complaint was made at Heppner Day Care on NW Gale St in Heppner. A blue heeler with a collar was seen running around near the daycare. The re- porting party currently has the dog with them but needs to leave. They mentioned that they will leave the dog outside. The dog was later taken to a pet rescue facility. - Another dog com- plaint occurred on W Sixth Rd in Irrigon. The reporting party stated that there is a German Shepherd at their house that they would like picked up. The dog has been in the area on and off for around a month. A deputy responded and transported the dog to a pet rescue facility. - A driving complaint was reported on Se Utah Ave in Irrigon. A Chevy or GMC vehicle, located on Idaho/Tenth, was observed speeding towards Tenth St. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) checked the area but was unable to locate the vehicle. - A citizen assist oc- curred at the Morrow Coun- ty Sheriff’s Office on W :LOORZ 9LHZ 'U LQ +HS- pner. A call was received from an interpreter on be- half of a deaf individual. - Another dog com- plaint was reported at Se Thirteenth Pl/Se Thirteenth St in Irrigon. The reporting party informed that there is a dog tied up to a porch that barks non-stop all day. This is a recurring issue that happens every day. A gray or silver Ford Escape was seen on Tenth St, speeding towards Utah Ave, and failed to stop at the stop sign on Seventh St. - A suicidal subject contacted the Morrow &RXQW\6KHUL൵¶V2൶FHRQ ::LOORZ9LHZ'ULQ+HS- pner. The male caller stated that he requires assistance from a crisis specialist. An employee fell for a scam call and scanned 2 barcodes over the phone for 2 PayPal cash cards. One card for $303.94 went through, and another card was declined. Employee contact has been made. Oregon State Po- lice received a driving com- plaint about a white Ford pickup swerving all over the road, splitting lanes, and varying speed. County and city units were unavailable at the time. Last Saturday at the Gilliam and Bisbee building, Emily Jack was the honored Mother-to-Be as over thirty women and several babies and toddlers gathered for her baby shower. A few family members and friends could not come because of the weather, but they have told Em- ily they are looking forward to meeting Baby Jack, who is due on February 27. Emily’s sister-in-law, Charlie, hosted the event and had several friends help with the preparations. The decorations were elegant, and the array of foods was spectacular. The toddlers who were dazzled by the mountain of wrapped gifts minded their manners and were occasional helpers.
