The Heppner Mus- tangs defeated the Central Linn Cobras 49-32 in their non-league game on Fri- day night. The Mustangs were led by Hallee Hisler and Delany Stefani, who scored 15 points and played aggressively on defense. Hisler and Stefani each had three and four fouls respectively, showing their intensity and hustle. The Mustangs also got contri- butions from Katie Spivey, who added eight points and four fouls, and Hadlie Nation, who chipped in ¿YHSRLQWVDQGWKUHHIRXOV Healy Hisler, Morgan Cuts- forth, Kadie Henricks, and Ava Gerry also scored for the Mustangs. The Cougars domi- nated the Mustangs in a one-sided game that ended with a 31-point gap. The Mustangs failed to recover in the third quar- ter, where they were shut out completely, while the Cougars added another 13 points to their lead.
