girls’ basketball team con-
tinued to lead the BMC con-

The Heppner Mus-
tangs defeated the Central
Linn Cobras 49-32 in their
non-league game on Fri-
day night. The Mustangs
were led by Hallee Hisler
and Delany Stefani, who
scored 15 points and played
aggressively on defense.
Hisler and Stefani each
had three and four fouls
respectively, showing their
intensity and hustle. The
Mustangs also got contri-
butions from Katie Spivey,
who added eight points
and four fouls, and Hadlie
Nation, who chipped in

Healy Hisler, Morgan Cuts-
forth, Kadie Henricks, and
Ava Gerry also scored for
the Mustangs.
