Who is able to make war with him? (Revelation 13:1a,4) The beast is the rising global one world order that is manipulating the Covid pandemic to bring every country in the world under lockdown control. The sev- en heads are the rulers and the ten horns are the ten global economic and polit- ical divisions of the beast world global system. The rulers of the beast system are changing and flaunt- ing historic ordinances and laws (constitutions) to ex- ercise power (mandates) to deny liberty and freedom to the citizens of the earth. Who is like unto the beast? The beast controls the governments of the world: “all the world won- dered (marveled) after the beast.” (Rev. 13:3b) This is why the national me- dia, Google, Facebook, the CDC, WHO, FDA, Dr Fauci, Obama/ Biden Ad- ministration and Democrat governors all support the beast driven Covid lock- downs, mandated vaccines, facemasks, and coming to- talitarian control. The dragon that gives power to the beast is Satan. Satan has deceived the kingdoms of the world “to make war with the saints.“ (Rev. 13:7a) The citizens of the world, primarily Christians, are in a war for survival, yet only a rem- nant understand and have ears to hear. Covid-19 is a man-made “gain of func- tion” virus manipulated in Wuhan China under the direction of Dr. Fauci and the Chinese government. The world is in lockdown whether they have Covid deaths (New Zealand 50, Australia less than 1,000) or not. In Morrow Coun- ty we must support our teachers, medical workers and others that will not compromise their health or convictions to take this mandated jab. Even those that have taken the shot will be sooner or later mandated to take the com- ing boosters or new variant shots. There is no excuse for any Morrow Coun- ty executive to terminate even one of our essential and dedicated employees. I exhort the county court and city governments to stand against this outrage against our very own citizens. We must stand united against any and all that would de- stroy our way of life and God granted liberty. Put your trust in God, the God of our forefathers that we have forsaken as a nation. Dick Temple, Lexington Liberty, fear and freedom To the Editor: I have thought a great deal about the current situ- ation we are in, as a com- munity, and as a nation. What I would like to put out there is not details or debate about COVID, the illness or the vaccination, but more of what needs spoken of in our conversa- tions and our life as well as taught to our children and our grandchildren. We have all been through difficult times over the last (almost two years). In some form or fashion, this virus has af- fected us all. What I want to address is the subject of liberty, fear and freedom. Not only our freedom but also the freedom of our children, grandchildren, neighbors, friends, and family. With fear there is no freedom, there is no liber- ty. Thomas Jefferson stat- ed, “When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the gov- ernment fears the people, there is liberty.” He goes on to say, “If people let government decide which foods they eat and medi- cines they take, their bod- ies will soon be in as sor- ry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny.” “The greatest danger to American free- dom is a government that ignores the Constitution”. What I challenge all who read this is to stand against fear, and to feel confident to stand for what is right, to not allow our rights, our freedoms, and our choices to be taken away. If we lose our free- doms, we will not get them back. Does this directly affect us here in our small communities? Yes indeed. There is no safe place if our freedoms are taken away. President Lincoln said in his Gettysburg address, “…the government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” We now have a President that ad- dresses the nation with “… It is not about freedom, it is not about personal choice.” However, it should be, that is our right. I have heard people say, “Let’s just get this over with, it is no big deal and I just want things to go back to normal.” I am sorry to say if we lose our freedom, our person- al choice, we will never go back to what we had. Once the government real- izes how easy it was to ma- nipulate through fear, there will be a next step, and a next… You may think that I am anti-COVID or an- ti-vaccination. I am not. There is a virus and my stance has always been, if you want to wear a mask, wear a mask. If you want to get the vaccination, please do. If you do not want to get the vaccination, that is your choice. I hold no ill will either way. What I believe is that we should have a choice. We should not be forced (threatened) to get a vaccine. Lastly, be kind to each other, support each other, and stand with each other. Remember, we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Cre- ator with certain unalien- able Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the gov- erned.
