Contests included the ground beef contest, measuring and pre- sentations. “It was a terrific day for kids and especially 4-H staff who enjoyed get- ting to watch kids perform in-person.” said extension agent, Erin Heideman. Ground Beef Contest, sponsored by Morrow County Livestock Growers, is designed for junior cook- ing students to cook a beef recipe in front of the judge and then present for taste and evaluation. Champion: Audrey Sak (Boardman), Co-Reserve Champions: Eva Worden (Heppner) and Kord Dickenson (Heppner), 3rd place Mikalie Duncan (Heppner).
