Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, November 21, 2018 -- THREE 4-H achievement awards held The annual 4-H achievement awards night for Morrow County was held Sunday, Nov. 18 at the Ione Legion Hall. 4-H members received awards for participation in coun- ty fair activities, such as foods, clothing, livestock, horse and presentations. Area businesses were also presented the Friends of Morrow County 4-H awards. 4-H Ambassador Roy Collins presented the Friends of Morrow County 4-H award to Columbia Basin Electric represented by Andy Fletcher. Right: Jewelana Chappell was nominated by the 4-H Lead- er’s Council for the Becky Smith Memorial Award. Mi- chael McElligott, who was not in attendance, was the co-winner. This award is given by the 4-H Leader’s Council to someone they consider the most enthusiastic, first year member in a large animal project area.
