The Arbuckle Nordic Club enjoyed spring skiing conditions on their Satur- day trip Jan. 13. The eight skiers spent the day skiing in the Kelly Prairie area. Kelly Prairie is a preferred place to start out the ski season as it boasts fairly flat terrain and has many fingers leading away from the main prairie to explore. If snow conditions remain favorable the group will continue to ski each Satur- day. They meet at 9 a.m. at the Heppner City Park and everyone is invited to join them.
