Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, May 11, 2016 4-H group learns about milking sheep - FIVE Wolf depredation committee meets in Heppner The Morrow County Wolf Depredation Advisory Committee met April 19 at the Bartholomew Building in Heppner. Committee members in attendance were Chair Dean Robinson, John Gould, Paul Hisler, Al Scott and Commissioner Leann Rea. Others in atten- dance were Steve Cherry, Biologist, Oregon Depart- ment of Fish and Wildlife; Chris Lulay, Wildlife Spe- cialist, Wildlife Services; Roberta Lutcher, Court dates on the Wallowa Coun- ty pack, and the pair spotted in the Gurdane area, and reminded all to report any sighting to him or Lulay as soon as possible. There was a lengthy discussion on how to get local livestock producers more involved in commit- tee decisions. All producers are invited to attend the next committee meeting on Tuesday, May 17, at 7 p.m. at the Bartholomew Building. Executive Assistant; and guest Glen Ward. There was a general discussion regarding a map received by the county court indicating the potential lo- cation of wolves in Morrow County. Cherry stated that he would seek clariication as he did not agree with the map as presented. Commissioner Rea re- minded members of a wolf workshop in Pendleton on Friday, May 13. Members fed baby lambs, toured the facility and participated in the milking process.
