IG H T - Heppner G azette-Tim es, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, November 12, 2014 Sheriff's Report M a y 30: -A c a lle r contacted Morrow County Sheriff’s Office request ing the Madison County SherifFs Office in Montana because her daughter called her from there and said she had just taken a bunch of pills. Madison County was called and advised of the information, and sent units. -MCSO was contacted by a Boardman resident who said their father lived next door, he has dementia and had fallen outside the previous night and was on the ground for quite a while. The caller had him back inside his home but said he had fallen several times previously. The father does not want to go to an assisted living home; he wants to drive, and took the riding lawn mower to town previ ously. Caller asked to speak to a deputy; the deputy re quested was unavailable but the caller was provided with the DHS/Adult & Disabled protective Services phone number in Hermiston. -A man on 1-84 called MCSO and advised there was an Oregon State Po lice car on the side of the road with emergency lights flashing but he could not see a trooper. MCSO was dis patched but was cancelled w hen the OSP trooper heard the transmission on the ra dio and advised everything was okay. He said he was sitting in the car and might be hard to see. -A woman from Irri- gon called and informed MCSO that she received a call from a woman report ing herself as a Christian woman; the woman then requested money, and the caller sent her money. Then they called back and told her she had won some lot tery money and they need to pay the taxes o f $800. The caller said she did not send the $800 but did have all the email conversations and Facebook info on the person in Michigan. -A woman in Irrigon advised MCSO that she had accidentally sent her driver’s license photo to someone and they advised H o lid a y that they would delete it. She needed to know what she should do. -A man from the lone area called and advised that his ex-wife was driving and possibly intoxicated. MCSO responded. -A hit-and-run occurred on Kangaroo Court in Ir rigon. A grey Chevy with arrows in the back of it ran over a dog, which went down to the next part of the field. -An Irrigon resident reported that his neighbor was threatening to shoot his pig. The neighbor did not have a gun with him, and the pigs w ere in a pen on the owner’s property. A black lab was on his property. b a z a a r seeks -MCSO was advised that Portland Police Bureau arrested Jonathan N. Reed, 33, on an Irrigon justice Court warrant for Failure to Appear on FTA. Subject was lodged at Multnomah County Jail with no local charges and an MCSO hold placed. -A woman driving on 1-84 said she was driving by a dark blue semi-truck and saw a female walking on the shoulder near the truck. The female then fell. A male wearing a cowboy hat then picked her up and put her in the truck and they took off. No further description was given.
