This is a change from the second Monday when the meetings are normally held. The annual Heppner High School Booster Club Dinner and Auction will be held Saturday, October 4, at the Heppner Elks club, starting at 6 p.m. The din ner and auction are the main sources of income for the club which provides fund ing for extracurricular aca demic and athletic activities at Heppner schools. New this year, the club will be offering VIP tables at the dinner which will be sold for $300 each. Each VIP table will seat six people and will include din ner and two bottles of wine. VIP guests will also enjoy table service with waiters. Only eight VIP tables are available this year. General adm ission for the dinner will be $15 a plate or $65 for a family. Also new this year, the dinner and auction will all take place downstairs at the Elks “to better utilize space.” said an organizer. A dinner and auction planning meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 5:30 p.m. at the HHS Library.
