A Sept. 13, 2014 wedding is planned at St. Paul
Cathedral in Yakima. The ceremony will be held at 2 p.m.

Heppner City Council
meeting Changed
The City of Heppner will hold its regular city
council meeting on September 15 at 7 p.m. at the Heppner
City Hall. This is a change from the second Monday when
the meetings are normally held.

Chamber of Commerce luncheon are asked to RSVP no

It’s food, fun and fellowship this week at Heppner
United Methodist Church.
Pastor Mike Lamb will present, “You Want to Worship
WhereT' Scripture readings from Exodus. Romans and
Matthew will be led by Merle Cowett. Music will Include
“Praise the Lord the Almighty”, “We are the Church”, “We
are Called” and “Together We Serve”. Holy Communion
will be celebrated.
Following the service, a potluck luncheon will
be held in the community room.
The service begins at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome
to attend The Heppner United Methodist Church is located
at 175 West Church St.
Catholic men to meet
The men of St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Heppner
and St. William's Catholic Church of lone will hold their
First Friday of the month meeting on September 5 at the
parish office in Heppner. The meeting will start at 6:45
a.m. and will be followed by First Friday Mass at 7:30 a.m.

club will be offering VIP
tables at the dinner which
will be sold for $300 each.
Each VIP table will seat six
people and will include din
ner and two bottles of wine.
VIP guests will also enjoy
table service with waiters.
Only eight VIP tables are
available this year.

a plate or $65 for a family.

LCAC meeting set
The upcoming LCAC meeting is scheduled for
Thursday Sept. 4, at 9 a.m. at the Morrow County School
District office within the Heppner Elementary School
located at 235 E. Stansbury St.
