Whether it is baking, canning, growing fruits, vegetables or flowers, sewing, crafts, taking pictures or painting, there is a category for you at the fair. It is simple to become an active participant. All one needs to do is to go to the Fair Office, pick up an exhibitor number and a premium sheet and then take the items to the various departments on Monday, August 15, between 1 and 8 p.m. Fruits, vegetables and flowers are accepted Monday 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8-10 a.m. Fair secretary AYin Jones will be happy to answer any questions. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8-12 a.m. And 1-5 p.m.. Along with the 4-H Snack Shack, serving up hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings, M urray’s Drug will have hot and cold espresso, muffins, cinnamon rolls and salads inside this year. There is a new Sno- Cone vendor this year-Tina and Neil Livingston from Boardman. The fantastic local taco vendor from lone. Home Town Tacos, will serve up lots o f south o f the border fare. R&R Cowboy Shack is coming to the fair from Princeton OR and is sure to be a new favorite!
