Dorothy Carol Norris Dorothy Carol Norris, 8 5 , o f H e p p n e r, d ie d Monday, May 5, 2014 at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Heppner. At her request, no service will be held. She was bom September 27, 1928 at Sisters, OR, the daughter o f C layton and Ester Burmaster Able. She was raised and attended school in at Prineville, OR. On December 1, 1945 s h e m a r r ie d K e n n e th Earl Norris at Prineville, where she graduated from high school. The couple moved to Heppner, where she w orked for K inzua Corporation in the log yard as a weigh master. Knitting was one o f her favorite hobbies but mostly she enjoyed being a wife, mother and friend. Survivors include: her h u sb a n d , K en n eth Earl N orris o f H eppner; son, Kenneth Edward Norris of Tacoma, WA; and grandson, Kenneth Eugene Norris of Lyman, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Anita Appesson, Louise Carpenter and Doris Hamilton.
