The city has garbage vouchers available, with a $50 limit, to residents of the City of Boardman. The vouchers are valid during the month of April at Finley Butte Landfill and the North Morrow Transfer Station. The garbage voucher p ro g ra m e n c o u r a g e s citizens to clean up their residences by disposing of yard debris. Fab Four 4-H Club spices things up with Italian cooking C ity resid en ts may pick up their vouchers at Boardm an City Hall at 200 City C enter C ircle beginning April 1. DA’s Report Mo r r o w Co u n t y D istrict Attorney Justin Nelson has released the following report: -Cory Robert Peterson, 23, was convicted of one count of Unlawful Delivery o f Marijuana, a Class C felony, based on a plea of guilty. The defendant was sentenced to 24 months formal probation, case to be treated as conditional discharge upon completion of conditions. Along the way, they learned a variety of food p re p a r a tio n tip s and techniques. The Fab Four will have their next meeting on April 17. MCSO responded but was unable to locate anything. -MCSO cited Daniel Lee Sm ith, 29, for No Operator’s License, Driving Uninsured and Failure to Register. -M C SO c ite d Joel Guadalupe Llamas, 26, for Driving Uninsured. -M C S O r e c e iv e d request for an ambulance for a 44-year-old male subject whose chest was hurting. Irrigon Ambulance and MCSO responded. -MCSO received report of a juvenile having issues w ith other ju v en iles at Irrigon High School. -M C S O r e c e iv e d request from an Irrigon woman for a deputy to contact a male subject who kept calling and texting her. A deputy contacted the suspect and told him to stop. January 14: Morrow County S heriff’s Office received a request for deputy contact from a man in Lexington. He wanted to know his options in getting a female to leave his property. -MCSO received report o f two dogs missing on C larks C anyon Rd. in Heppner. -MCSO received report o f tw o dogs attack in g another dog in Irrigon. MCSO cited the owner for Maintaining a Dog as a Public Nuisance. -MCSO received report of about 20 cows out in the road headed toward the highway on I-84/Tower Rd., Boardman. A deputy checked and determined that the cows were not out. -MCSO Deputy advised there were vehicles at the marina park in Irrigon. The deputy advised the subjects that the park was closed. -MCSO received report from an lone man that he had until the 10th to move out o f the property, but he went to the property on the afternoon o f the ninth and all the gates were open and his horses were out. He wanted a report documenting the incident. Sheriff's Report -Continuedfrom PAGE SIX was at the Boardman Foods J a n u a ry 7: -MCSO received report of a small black dog injured at Kunze Lane and Paul Smith Rd., Boardman. -MCSO received report from a Heppner woman that the county bought her house in Heppner so there should be no one there. -MCSO received report from an lone man that his Chevy pickup was missing. He advised that his daughter may have taken it, but did not have permission to do so. -M C S O r e p o r te d assisting Boardman Police Department with a drive-off and a disorderly subject. -MCSO received report of suspicious circumstances w ith a b r ie f c a se o f documents found. J a n u a ry 8: Morrow County S heriff’s Office received report o f a male in a red Suburban with a weapon who said he was going to kill someone. He parking lot manufacturing plant. The caller said that two kids were in the vehicle. -M C S O r e c e iv e d report o f a small black dog walking, but not very well down Wilson toward Bombing Range. -M C S O r e c e iv e d request for contact from an lone man who wanted to know what to do with his ex-girlfriend’s belongings. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that a juvenile had threatened their child with a knife. A deputy made contact. -MCSO received report o f a domestic dispute in p ro g ress on Hwy. 730 in U m atilla. A deputy responded and assisted. -M C S O a r r e s t e d Joseph Arthur Manning, 27, on a Morrow Count Court warrant for Parole Violation/Assault IV. He was lodged at U m atilla County Jail with $25,000 bail. -MCSO received report of a female walking along the side of the road from the mill zone toward Heppner. A deputy checked the area, but was unable to locate the female. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that a mentally unstable male was knocking on her door. MCSO and Irrigon Ambulance responded and transported the man to Good Shepherd Community Hospital in Hermiston. -Boardman Police cited John Caleb Russell, 34, for Driving without a License. He was also warned for no license plate light, failure to carry proof of registration and failure to carry proof insurance. Jan u ary 13: Morrow County S heriff’s Office received request for agency assist for a male who had m achinery fall on him. He reported numbness or no feeling in his arm and shoulder. -MCSO received report of a traffic hazard in Irrigon. A deputy moved a garbage can out of the road. -MCSO received report from a Boardman woman that someone stole hay from her a few months ago and she spotted the same vehicle leaving one of her trailers on Frontage Rd. She said they had no business being there and follow ed them because she was concerned that they may have stolen her property from the trailer. MCSO, Umatilla County Sheriffs Office and Oregon State Police responded and attem pted to locate the vehicle. -MCSO received report from a Boardman man that someone shot one o f his cows the previous night. He said he would be disposing of the cow at Finley Buttes, but then would be available. -MCSO received report o f an audible alarm at Irrigon Alternative School. M CSO resp o n d ed and contacted the principal on the scene. It was a false alarm. -M C S O r e c e iv e d request from an Irrigon woman for extra patrol around her residence.
