Boardman to sponsor spring
clean-up
The City of Boardman
will sponsor a community
wide clean-up the month
o f April.
The city has garbage
vouchers available, with a
$50 limit, to residents of the
City of Boardman.
The vouchers are valid
during the month of April
at Finley Butte Landfill and
the North Morrow Transfer
Station.
The garbage voucher
p ro g ra m e n c o u r a g e s
citizens to clean up their
residences by disposing of
yard debris.

They worked together

Tomato Sauce, Parmesan

D ressing (served w ith
Romaine lettuce), and a
rich Almond Butter Cake
for dessert.
Along the way, they
learned a variety of food
p re p a r a tio n tip s and
techniques.
The Fab Four will have
their next meeting on April
17. They will focus on
one-dish meals and make
chocolate cheesecake for
dessert.

woman for a deputy to
contact a male subject who
kept calling and texting
her. A deputy contacted
the suspect and told him
to stop.
January 14: Morrow
County S heriff’s Office
received a request for
deputy contact from a man
in Lexington. He wanted
to know his options in
getting a female to leave
his property.

another dog in Irrigon.
MCSO cited the owner
for Maintaining a Dog as a
Public Nuisance.

of about 20 cows out in the
road headed toward the
highway on I-84/Tower
Rd., Boardman. A deputy
checked and determined
that the cows were not out.
-MCSO Deputy advised
there were vehicles at the
marina park in Irrigon. The
deputy advised the subjects
that the park was closed.
-MCSO received report
from an lone man that he
had until the 10th to move
out o f the property, but
he went to the property
on the afternoon o f the
ninth and all the gates were
open and his horses were
out. He wanted a report
documenting the incident.

weapon who said he was
going to kill someone. He
parking lot manufacturing
plant. The caller said that
two kids were in the vehicle.

their child with a knife. A
deputy made contact.

in U m atilla. A deputy
responded and assisted.

27, on a Morrow Count
Court warrant for Parole
Violation/Assault IV. He
was lodged at U m atilla
County Jail with $25,000
bail.

of a female walking along
the side of the road from the
mill zone toward Heppner.
A deputy checked the area,
but was unable to locate the
female.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon woman
that a mentally unstable
male was knocking on her
door. MCSO and Irrigon
Ambulance responded and
transported the man to
Good Shepherd Community
Hospital in Hermiston.
-Boardman Police cited
John Caleb Russell, 34, for
Driving without a License.
He was also warned for no
license plate light, failure to
carry proof of registration
and failure to carry proof
insurance.
Jan u ary 13: Morrow
County S heriff’s Office
received request for agency
assist for a male who had
m achinery fall on him.
He reported numbness or
no feeling in his arm and
shoulder.
-MCSO received report
of a traffic hazard in Irrigon.
A deputy moved a garbage
can out of the road.
-MCSO received report
from a Boardman woman
that someone stole hay
from her a few months
ago and she spotted the
same vehicle leaving one
of her trailers on Frontage
Rd. She said they had no
business being there and
follow ed them because
she was concerned that
they may have stolen her
property from the trailer.
MCSO, Umatilla County
Sheriffs Office and Oregon
State Police responded and
attem pted to locate the
vehicle.
-MCSO received report
from a Boardman man that
someone shot one o f his
cows the previous night. He
said he would be disposing
of the cow at Finley Buttes,
but then would be available.
-MCSO received report
o f an audible alarm at
Irrigon Alternative School.
M CSO resp o n d ed and
contacted the principal on
the scene. It was a false
alarm.

request from an Irrigon
woman for extra patrol
around her residence. She
believed that a particular
man who drives a black car
or Jeep may try to break
into her home.
