A 43-year-old woman was cited for theft and released on her own recognizance. -MCSO received report from H e rm isto n P o lice Department that they have probable cause for arrest for Violation o f Restraining Oregon on a 32-year-old woman who was reported to be staying with a male subject in Irrigon. -MCSO received report o f suspicious circumstances in Heppner. A male subject s a id h e a rd s u s p ic io u s activity on his walkie talkie that morning regarding two subjects. - U m a t i l l a C o u n ty S h eriff’s O ffice arrested Jason Edward Kinzer, 31, on a Morrow County Circuit Court warrant for Failure to A ppear/P ossession o f M e th a m p h e ta m in e and M anufacture/D elivery o f a C ontrolled Substance. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $100,000 bail. -MCSO received report from a Boardman man that he saw a w h ite p ick u p parked in the ditch by his property with the cab door open. The caller said he shined a spotlight on them and yelled at them and then the vehicle left. M CSO re sp o n d e d and sto p p e d the vehicle at Hwy. 730 near Irrigon. The man in the white pickup said that the reason he stopped was because he saw an AMC G rem lin in the driveway an d w a n te d to ta k e a picture. It was too dark for a picture, but then the other man started yelling, so he decided to leave. December 16: Morrow C ounty S h e riff’s O ffice received report o f a living room m o tio n a la rm in Boardman. The owner was contacted, but said he was three hours away and no one should be there. -MCSO received report o f a su sp ic io u s v e h ic le parked on the sh o u ld e r by the school in Irrigon. MCSO cited a 17-year-old for No Operator’s License, D riv in g U n in su re d and Failure to Renew. -MCSO received a 911 hang-up abandoned call. It was kids playing with the phone. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon w om an that she had received a call on her cell from a female stating she was being beaten and needed help. The caller said she called the number back several times, but did not get an answer. A deputy checked the residence but no one was there. -MCSO received report from a Heppner man that a dead faw n w as in his back yard and would like a deputy to respond. -M C S O r e c e iv e d report from Oregon State Police that they arrested Jam es D aniel Riley, 27, on an Irrigon Justice Court w a rra n t fo r F a ilu re to Appear. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $6,000 bail. -M C S O D e p u ty advised a follow-up on a sex crime that had occurred. -M C S O r e c e i v e d request for a behavioral health transport for a female fro m G o o d S h e p h e rd H o spital to a John Day facility. -MCSO received report o f a suspicious blue Ford pickup short bed with a load o f wood in the back with shaded w indow s. M CSO responded, but the vehicle was gone. -M C S O r e c e i v e d request from a woman in Heppner to report a fraud/ forgery. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon man that a building with plywood on its windows had a big hole in its back door like someone tried to break in. The caller said it was not there the previous day when he was at the location to ftx a window that someone had tried to pry the plywood off of. -MCSO received report from an lone man that his ex-wife had come to pick up the kids and he believed she had been drinking. He requested a welfare check at her residence. -MCSO arrested Gary D ow W illia m s, 58, on Probable Cause charges o f DU1I and D riving While Suspended-m isdem eanor. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $12,000 b ail. He w as also cited for Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian in a Crosswalk, d r iv in g u n in su re d and refused a breath test. -MCSO cited Clifford W a y n e Y o s t, 3 3 , fo r Violation o f the Basic Rule, 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. -M CSO received 20- plus 911 calls reporting a white pickup going west bound in the east-bound lane on 1-84 Boardman. The vehicle crashed into another vehicle at m ilepost 156. MCSO, Boardman Police D e p a rtm e n t, B oardm an Ambulance, Boardman Fire, Irrigon Fire D epartm ent, I r r ig o n A m b u la n c e O regon State Police and O re g o n D e p a rtm e n t o f Transportation responded and staged at Boardman Fire Hall. Boardman Ambulance transported one patient to Good Shepherd Hospital. MCSO arrested Brent Lane C o o n e y , 50, fo r D U II, Assault IV-misdemeanor, R e c k le s s D riv in g and R ecklessly E ndangering Another. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail. A: Delta Wranglers announce 2014 play days, next meeting date The Wranglers Riding Club has announced its play days for 2014, with a slight a lte ra tio n to its norm al schedule. R ather than holding p lay d ay s the last tw o Sundays in April and the first two Sundays in May, the group has decided to w ork around E aster and start a week early; the first play day will be on April 13, with a week off for Easter and then play days on April 27, May 4 and May 11. Each play day begins at noon with a potluck lunch; 1 events follow at 1 p.m. A barbeque and awards will be held after the last play day on May 11.
