Local woman celebrates 95 years R o b e rt H. “ B o b ” Baker, 66, o f lone died Friday, March 7, 2014 near Hermiston as a result of a motor vehicle accident. A memorial funeral Mass w ill be h eld 11 a .m . Thursday, March 13, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Heppner with recitation of the Rosary beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 13. Gorger Baker. He was raised and attended school in lone except for a brief time when he attended St. Joseph’s Academy in fo r Bob as he played Pendleton. The walk/run will begin “rain, wind or sun” at 9:30 a.m. The R em em brance W alk/Run will proceed fo llo w in g a ro u te o f handmade green shamrocks. The event will be held at Willow Creek Baptist Church starting at 5:30 p.m. Weigh-in will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a hot dog meal will be provided beginning at 5:45 p.m.; opening ceremonies will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the races to shortly thereafter.
