The proposed changes are to more clearly describe the purpose, allowed uses, rail dependent uses, water dependent uses, to remove the re q u ire m e n t for a Port Master Plan and to amend the transportation impacts section providing reference to requirements in recently adopted and anticipated Interchange Area Management Plans. Five members made pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting and five made oatmeal bars with chocolate frosting (or as the group calls them, Mrs. Allen bars). According to p a rticip a n ts, they both turned out delicious. “One o f the things I learned personally was how to separate an egg,” said club member Jayne Simpson. T h e c l u b ’s n e x t meeting will be Dec. 20; each member will make a batch of cookies for the others to sample.
