Lovgren Robert L. Lovgren, 83, of Heppner died Monday, July 22, 2013 at Pioneer M em orial H ospital in H eppner. A graveside memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27, at the Heppner Masonic Cemetery. A reception and luncheon will follow at the Heppner Elks Lodge. Bob was bom April 5, 1930 in Heppner, the son of Frank Martin and Hannah Maria Erickson Lovgren. He was raised and attended school in Heppner, where he graduated in 1948. On March 19, 1949 he m arried Yvonne E. Dougherty in Heppner. The couple farmed a wheat ranch near Lexington. They also enjoyed their mountain home (the Woodpecker Inn) near Parker’s Mill. They retired in 1994 and moved into Heppner. Bob was very active in the Heppner Elks Lodge and was a past Exalted Ruler.
