The couple farmed a wheat
ranch near Lexington. They
also enjoyed their mountain
home (the Woodpecker Inn)
near Parker’s Mill. They
retired in 1994 and moved
into Heppner.
Bob was very active
in the Heppner Elks Lodge
and was a past Exalted
Ruler. As a lifetime member

Asher James Schonbachler. Asher was bom Wednesday,
July 3, 2013 at 9:56 p.m. at St. Anthony Hospital in
Pendleton, OR. He weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces and
was 19-3/4 inches long. He joins older sibling Tacey
Schonbachler.
Grandparents are Hank and Debbi Howard of
Heppner, Gary and the late Donna Schonbachler of
Heppner, and Juli Cross of Lexington.
