The manager of a motel in Irrigon called for another man about get ting his vehicle released. The manager advised that the su b ject was acting very odd, may be “handi capped” and did not believe he should be driving. The subject was about to check out of the hotel. -MCSO received re port that the Heppner High School senior class was going to be camping out on the high school lawn than night. -MCSO received extra patrol request to monitor pedestrians crossing at an Irrigon location on Hwy. 730/First St. -MCSO received report of two brown llamas run ning around the Heppner Cemetery. -MCSO cited Geri Ann Nelson, 61, for Violation of the Speed Limit, 35 mph in a 20 mph school zone. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon man that he believes someone was trying to scam him. He reported that two subjects were at his residence. -MCSO received report from a Heppner woman of seeing a bobcat or cougar. Information was relayed to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. -MCSO received re quest for a wellness check on a 73-year-old Heppner woman. The caller said the last time they spoke with her was on May 3. She was supposed to come in for an appointment, but did not show up and they were un able to contact her. -MCSO received re port of a red Ford Explorer driving erratically on Hwy 730/Paterson Ferry Rd., Irrigon. -MCSO received report that LaGrande Police ar rested Anthony M. Shrout, 31, on a warrant for Failure to Appear/two counts o f Harassment, and Criminal Mischief III. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $1,014 bail in full. May 23: MCSO re ceived report from a marine deputy that he was reattach ing a sailboat that had come loose. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that a gray and white pit bull crawled over her new car in Irrigon. -MCSO deputy provid ed security during court at the Morrow County Court house in Heppner. -MCSO deputies re ported giving a water safety demonstration at an Irrigon school. -MCSO received report o f a continuous problem with a dog in the Washing ton Ave. neighborhood in Irrigon. -MCSO received report of a gold Jeep Grand Chero kee with a broken window in an empty lot next to her house. MCSO responded and determined that the ve hicle was on private prop erty and not stolen. -MCSO responded to an audible residence alarm in lone. The residence was secure. -MCSO received report o f a male in Irrigon who had hit a female and was punching her. The male left on foot and went back to his house. MCSO responded and determined it was a verbal dispute only. -MCSO received report from a Heppner subject who has property across the highway from the OH V Park that someone kept cut ting the lock. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon man that his wife was bitten by a dog the previous night. -MCSO received report from a Heppner man that his wife hit another vehicle while she was backing up in their pickup. No injuries were reported. -MCSO received report from a Heppner man that his landlords were going through a divorce. Officers made contact with the female who advised that one of the males in question was not who they thought it was. She was also lodged at Umatilla County Jail. -MCSO received re port o f harassment from an Irrigon man who said that a male subject in a 1972 green Chevy Nova, who lived in the area of Washington and A streets in Irrigon, started revving up his engine, attempting to get his daughter’s horse to buck her off. -MCSO received report from a Heppner woman of a burglary in progress at her home. She said she had gone to bed and there were people in the bathroom of her house. According to reports, the subject was disoriented. -MCSO received report of an intoxicated driver on Fuller Canyon Rd. in Hep pner. MCSO responded but was unable to locate anyone. -MCSO received report of an out-of-control brush fire on Daisy Rd., Irrigon. MCSO and Irrigon Fire Department responded. The owner came and re turned the dog home. -MCSO cited Stephen John Roberts, 50, for Vio lation of the Basic Rule, 78 mph in a 55 mph. -MCSO received report of a black Lab mother dog and two puppies found in Heppner. -MCSO received report from a Heppner man that someone had broken into his mother-in-law’s house through the bedroom win dow. -MCSO received report from a Heppner woman that she was having a saddle made by a man nam ed Todd, but he cashed her $500 down payment check and skipped town and she hadn’t received the saddle. Justice Court Report Morrow County Justice o f the Peace Ann Spicer has released the following Justice Court report: -A 17-year-old male, Heppner, plead no contest for failure to properly use seatbelt, motor vehicle ac cident (MVA); also cited for three passengers for failure to properly use seatbelts, MVA, $440 fine. -Lynn E. Wiley, 63, Pendleton, was convicted of exceeding maximum weight limit by 2,900-36,900 with a 34,000 limit, $200 fine. -Jean Iva Zimmerman, 26, Heppner, plead no con test for failure to use seat- belt, $110 fine. -Terry Gene Corbin, 64, H eppner, plead not guilty, but was convicted of maintaining a dog as a pub lic nuisance, $260 fine. -Carol Rae Hughes, 59, Lexington, was convicted of failure to yield right of way, MVA, $325 fine. -John M. Healy, 57, Heppner, plead no contest to maintaining a dog as a public nuisance, $250 fine. -Michael E. Koltonski, 35, Boise, Idaho, plead no contest to two counts o f failure to obey a traffic con trol device, $520 fine. -Ju stin Howey, 18, Heppner, was convicted of criminal mischielf II, $351 fine, including $ 184 restitu tion, plus attorney’s fees.
