Grand total through 2018: $1,327,066. Mills recom m ended that the board set the list aside until this fall to decide what projects they plan to undertake. Mahoney also present ed the profit/loss statement for March which showed a $17,411 gain for the month, with $638,932 in gross patient revenue, less $49,979 in bad debts and $75,469 in contractual and other adjustm ents, plus landscaping is completed and having a plaque made which will honor contribu tors. M ahoney reported that the total cost of the Ir rigon Clinic remodel came in at $268,000 which was under the $270,000 re vised budget. The project was initially budgeted at $250,000. -briefly discussed the possible impact o f how changes with the Afford able Health Care Act will affect the district. Mahoney said that the district is an ticipating a large hike in the cost of employee health insurance. -received the follow ing reports: PMH had six admissions in March, 10 admitted for observation, one swing nursing facility admission, 452 outpatients, 70 total emergency room encounters, 1,591 lab tests, 97 X-ray procedures, 17 CT scans, 27 EKG tests, seven colonoscopy procedures, one endoscopy procedures, 65 respiratory therapy pro cedures; Home Health had 148 patient visits; Hospice had 163 patient visits, Phar macy had 879 drug doses for $67,301 in revenue; PMC had 435 patient visits, 29 new patients, 33 seen by a nurse and 13 no-shows; 1MC had 193 patient visits, 26 new patients, 38 seen by a nurse and seven no shows; Heppner Ambulance had 22 total page-outs and 19 transports for $9,428 in revenue; Boardman Ambu lance had 39 page-outs with 21 transports for $28,427 in revenue; Irrigon Ambu lance had 25 page-outs with 14 transports for $ 17,532 in revenue. FBLA competes at regional conference Un A p ril 4, a group o f H ep pn er High School's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) stu dents traveled to Port land as they competed at the State Business Leadership Confer ence. These bright, young students com peted in February at the regional competi tions in La Grande to qualify at the state level. Among many other chapters from around the state, Hep pner High School did very well. Austin Guti errez and Austin Roberts placed fifth in entrepreneurship, the chapter scrapbook designed by Tessa Gould and Kellie Nelson placed sixth, and Ashlie Hanson placed seventh in public speaking and Tessa Gould competed in job interv iew. SHERIFF'S REPORT -Continued from Page FOUR -MCSO received report of loud music coming from a trailer on Riverview Ave., Irrigon, that was keeping him awake. A deputy re sponded and the music was turned down. April 21: MCSO received report o f a suspicious ve hicle at the refuge parking lot in Irrigon. A deputy responded and spoke with the individuals who said they were fixing something in the car. -MCSO received report of two pickups racing through the Irrigon refuge. PUBLIC NOTICE -MCSO reported conduct ing several boat inspec tions. -MCSO received report of subjects kicking their dog in Boardman. When the caller said something to them, they yelled at her and drove off. -MCSO received report of either sheep or cattle on 13th St. near Hwy. 730, Irrigon. April 22: MCSO received a noise complaint in Irri gon with a party and loud music. -MCSO received report from a subject in Irrigon that a generator, saws, tools and other items were taken from their construction site on Hwy. 730/Paterson Ferry Rd, probably over the weekend. A deputy re sponded and took a report. -MCSO received report of theft of a masonry saw on Hwy. 730/Irrigon. A deputy responded and took a report. -MCSO received report that Multnomah County ar rested Francis David Peska, 73, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/Driving While Suspended. He was lodged with $1,632 bail in full. -MCSO received a request from a woman to speak to a deputy on behalf of her brother concerning their options on a vehicle that had been towed in Mult nomah County, but had a court-ordered breathalyzer installed in it in Morrow County. PUBLIC NOTICE N OTICE OF BUDG ET COM M ITTEE M EETING A public meeting of me Budget Committee of the $116,118 in tax revenue and $51,621 in other oper ating revenue for $681,222 in total operating revenue and a non-operating gain of $9,167. On the expense side, total operating expens es for March are $672,978. Also at the meeting the board learned of four very positive com ments con cerning patients treated by the Morrow County Health District: one from Kadlec Medical Center concern ing a heart attack patient transported to Kadlec by Morrow County EMS in Boardman; one from the daughter of long-term care patient in Heppner; one concerning a stroke pa tient in Heppner who was treated at Pioneer Memorial Hospital through the new “Telestroke” program; and one concerning a successful breach delivery by EMS personnel in Boardman. In other business, the board: - heard a presentation from Robanai Disque, di rector of Home Health and Hospice, who discussed the Home Health and Hospice 2012 annual agency evalu ations. Disque reported that Pioneer Memorial Home Health personnel made 644 visits to patients in Heppner in 2012, 182 to Lexington. 60 to lone, 88 to Boardman, 44 to Irrigon, 109 to Arling ton and 84 to Condon.
