Planning Commissioners serve four-year terms, with this position beginning at the time of appointment and running until the end of the vacated term, December 31, 2015. The Planning Commission generally m eets once a month, alternating meeting locations between Heppner and Boardman. MAIN STREET PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR BIDS M orrow County Public Works is accepting bids for crane lift removal of a portion o f the existing c lo c k to w e r and b ell from the Morrow County Courthouse, located 100 S. Court Street in Heppner, OR. It is anticipated that two separate lift dates, one for the removal of the existing structure and bell and one for the placement o f the reconstructed structure and bell, will be required. Each date will require 2 or more lifts as determined by the contractor. The existing clock tower structure to be removed is estimated at 7,200 lbs. The bell is estimated to weigh 3,050 lbs. The existing tower structure and bell will be prepared for removal by others prior to the arrival o f the Crane contractor. The Contractor shall lift the stru c tu re and bell f and lower it to a location directly adjacent to the Courthouse. On the second lift date, the contractor shall crane lift the re-constructed tower structure and bell back into position on the Courthouse building. The contractor shall be responsible for all rigging associated with the two lifts. Specifications and bid sheets may be obtained by contacting Morrow County Public works Sandi Putman at 365 W. An ambu lance responded and he was transported. -MCSO arrested Roger William Shipley II, 46, Heppner, for FTA/DUIII, bail o f $6,000. He was lodged at UCJ no local charges. -MCSO received report of a burglary in progress at Irrigon. The caller stated someone was breaking into a storage unit. MCSO and Oregon State Police re sponded and it was deter mined it was the owner. -MCSO cited Kortnie Marie Shipley, 21, Board- man, for speeding, driving 102 mph in a 65 mph zone. She is to appear in Justice Court April 18. -MCSO cited Souane Kang, 57, Boardman, for speeding, 87 mph in a 65 mph zone. She is to appear in Justice Court April 10. -MCSO received a re quest from an Irrigon sub ject for information about filing for bankruptcy. A MCSO Deputy responded and advised the subject of his options. -MCSO received report from a Boardman realtor that a house he went to check on appeared to have been broken into, break ing out the windows and unlocking the doors, which were previously locked. -MCSO received report o f loud noise in the area of Kunze Lane/Olson Rd., Boardman. A deputy re sponded and the music was turned down. -M CSO, Irrigon Am bulance received report from a subject in Irrigon that a 31 -year-old man had trouble breathing and his heart was pounding. The ambulance was canceled. -MCSO received a com plaint that subjects in a white Honda pointed a gun at a person in another ve hicle in Irrigon. The subject was last seen at the Irrigon Shell station. -MCSO Deputy attempt ed to serve a restraining order on a male subject in Boardman. -MCSO received a re port that a dark colored car is spinning cookies and rac ing up and down the road. No contact needed, call just wants the area checked. The area was checked and there was evidence the vehicle had been there. - MCSO assisted OSP and Umatilla Police Dept, during an incident when an intoxicated subject fired a pistol across Hwy. 730. Subject was armed with a knife when officers ar rived. M arch 24: Stanfield PD arrested Jarvis Donald Buck, 34, on a Morrow County Circuit Court war rant for Failure to Appear/ DUIII. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $10,000 bail and no local charges. -MCSO received a 911 hangup call. Then the fe male who initially called, called back a second time and said she needed the cops now. The dispatcher reported a lot of screaming and yelling in the back ground.
