C A R D OF T H A N K S To the wonderful people of Heppner and the outlying areas: Thank you so much for your support of the music programs at the Heppner schools! I have been amazed by your participation and enthusiasm in our recent events. Specifically, I would like to extend my thanks to Sheryll Bates for her direction and help during St. Pat’s weekend, Pam and Richard Shmidt and company for the great meals at the senior center, Les Schwab for letting us have a car wash on their lot, Brandi Sweeney and all else who helped sell tickets for my recent hair cutting event, Blondie’s Salon for being open on Saturday of St. Pats and doing the damage control on my remaining hair, the Gazette Times for their publicity, and the entire community for their support of our endeavors. This is by no means a complete list of names but please understand how much you are all appreciated. We are still about $900.00 short for the high school choir trip to sing for the Oregon State Legislature and we are about $500.00 short of completely paying for the elementary honor choir students' trip to Portland, however, we are a long ways from where we started. Thanks again for your tremendous support! Sincerely; Rick Drake Director of Music @ Heppner Public Schools 4-3-lc i The family of Bud Marshall would like to take this time for say “Thank You” for the love and prayers shown by the residents of Morrow County. Our gratitude is extended to the Reverend’s Udagandla and Condon of St. Patrick's Catholic Church for the wonderful mass in Bud’s honor and also for the grave side service at the Lexington Cemetery. Thanks to Virginia Peck and everyone who brought the wonderful food for the gathering at the Rebekah Lodge. And as always Pat and Trish Sweeney were by our side for comfort and support.
