Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, April 4, 2012 SEVEN -Continuedfrom PAGE SIX with cookies and ribs but also a great bottle of wine from Kim berly that we opened im m ediately to toast my new life. To Barb Watkins I want to say thank you for your joy every time 1 see you and for the wonderful ham that you brought for my family after the funeral. To Lois Connor, thank you so much for all o f the food and desserts that you brought to me when I moved home. Your kindness and welcome were so appreciated. And once again, to Trisha Sweeney, thank you for the. roast dinner you prepared and the beautiful new dutch oven you brought it in. My friends Mary and David Budde provided all of the food for the reception after the funeral. That was an am azing task since they knew they needed to prepare enough food for 100 people. They live in Brush Prairie, Washington and had to prepare everything at their home and transport it to Spray. The meal was amazing and allowed everyone the opportunity to visit and remember Mama without worrying about bringing food to share. Thank you Mary and David, 1 am blessed to call you my friends. To everyone who went to Spray for the funeral and those who sent cards and flowers and for all of you who surrounded me when I needed you the most, thank you. If I m issed anyone I apologize. I have felt such support since 1 moved back and for that I am grateful. I know that Mama was looking forward to moving back to Heppner and she didn’t get the opportunity but I know in my heart that she is pleased that I am now home. Sincerely, Nova Simpson 4-4-lc special place to live and was excited to be able to move back home when we did, but 1 didn’t realize the level that this community would give and give so lovingly.
