The Knights used an early game advan tage that the Cards couldn’t overcome to win game four, 25-22, setting up the game five tie-breaker. Digging deep, the Lady Cardinals pulled out a 15-9 win to take the match, their first match played to five games all season. “It was an intense match all the way around” said Eynetich. “You can’t give Condon/W heeler any breathing room or they will take advantage. It was an eye opener.” JoAnna Patton had a tremendous effort at the net with 28 kills and seven blocks. Dominika Senker ikova added 19 kills and five blocks. “They (the Knights) came out and blocked us a lot. Dominika was getting blocked in the middle so we moved her to the outside but she was definitely frus trated,” Eynetich said. The Lady C ard i nals will wrap up the regu lar season this week with a league match against Echo on Tuesday, October 18 and then a pre-district tune-up at the Dufur Tournament on Saturday.
