Senior Companion Program available in Morrow County The Senior Com panion Program (SCP) is looking for seniors in Mor row County who would like to have a friendly visitor, someone to give a family caregiver a break by provid ing respite care, or helping with grocery shopping or ride to the doctor. Senior Companion volunteers can give one or two hours per week to an in dividual, and can visit up to 12 persons on a long-term. scheduled basis. To receive Senior Companion services, one must have a demonstrable need for a Senior Compan ion, i.e., recently released from Hospital or nursing home, have a disability, have a mental health con cern, be lonely & isolated, or have a persistent health problem or severe illness.
