SIX • Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon S h eriffs Report The Morrow County Sheriff's Office reports han dling the following business: O c t. 28 c o n t.: -BPD w arned a subject for no rear lights. A verbal warning was also given to the driver to get his license switched over to Oregon ASAP. The subject advised he was waiting for his birth certificate. -BPD received re port o f subjects clearing brush and debris around power lines. -BPD cited Alva ro Martin Castor, 45, for Driving While Suspended- violation and Driving Un insured. -BPD received re port from a woman who said someone had been in her shed, but she was not sure if anything was taken. She said her husband had cancer and was not able to get to the shed at this time. -BPD officer re ported he was after a dog at large, but couldn’t catch it and would try to follow it home. The dog escaped. -BPD received re port that MCSO was at tempting to serve a restrain ing order on a subject. -BPD cited Ronald Milton Rice, 23, for Viola tion of the Speed Limit. -BPD officer re ported he gave an intoxi cated subject a ride to his residence. -BPD received a 911 hang-up call. A subject who did not speak English gave the phone to another subject who spoke some English and said it was a misdial and they were walking by the Boardman market. BPD responded and was unable to locate any subjects in the area. -Heppner Ambu lance reported a transport to the Lexington airport. -Boardm an A m bulance received a report that a 34-year-old male had crushed his arm in a roll press. October 29: Mor row County Sheriff's Office cited Minerva Rojas Force, 34, for Violation o f the Speed Limit. -M C S O c i t e d Miguel Fuentes Lopez, 32, for Violation of the Basic Rule and Failure to Carry Proof of Insurance. -MCSO cited Erik Eduardo Guardado Con treras, 24, for VSL and Failure to Carry Proof of Insurance. -MCSO received report of kids standing on the white line on Columbia Lane in Irrigon and acting like they were going to throw something at vehicles as they pass buy. Some of the kids went into the road and scared the caller three times since it was dark and they were being unsafe. -M C SO d ep u ty noticed a suspicious car parked on Bombing Range Rd. -MCSO received report from hunters of an elk calf caught in a fence. A deputy accompanied the hunters to the site and had to put the calf down be cause it had been there for a couple days. -MCSO received report of a mailbox in Ir rigon knocked down and the post bent the previous night. -MCSO received report that OSP arrested Alejandro Javier Nunez, 30, for Failure to Pay Fine/ DUII. He was lodged at Norcor with $1, 996.82 bail. -MCSO received report from a Heppner sub ject that a young, skinny, male lab with no collar showed up at his residence on Sand Hollow Road. -MCSO received report of a vehicle parked Wednesday, March 24,2010 at a Boardman location. The subject was just resting. -MCSO received report of a vehicle parked on Hwy. 730, Irrigon. It was a farm employee looking for his dogs. -MCSO received report of a possible accident on Hwy. 730/Paterson Ferry Rd. Deputies responded and confirmed the accident. Ir rigon Medical and Irrigon Fire Department responded and advised it was non medical. -MCSO received a report from a Boardman subject that he had received a 20-minute phone call from another male subject who was angry over a previous incident and made physical threats toward him. MCSO responded. -Boardman Police Department officer advised he was at the Boardman preschool giving a Hallow een safety presentation.. -BPD officer ad vised he noticed an open door at a residence. The owner was cooking and opened the door to air out the house. -B P D a r r e s te d Keith William Nielson, 30, on a Multnomah County Circuit Court warrant for Contempt of Court. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $5,000 bail. -B P D re c e iv e d report from a Boardman woman that she had an argument with the 13-year- old daughter who left the residence and wanted an officer to respond. Officers located the daughter, made contact with the mother and advised that there was no crime committed. -Irrig o n A m bu lance received report of an elderly male having breathing problems. EMS responded, but the patient refused transport. -Irrigon Ambulance received request for assis tance from a 79-year-old male who said he needed help cleaning himself and getting his oxygen hooked back up again. The patient refused transport. -Irrig o n A m b u lance received report that a 72-year-old male fell from a standing position and his hip was hurting. -Irrig o n A m b u lance received a call from a subject who said the am bulance crew was at his residence the previous night and messed up his oxygen tanks. He said he wanted them to come back out and fix them so they worked correctly. An ambulance responded, but the subject refused transport. -Irrig o n A m b u lance received report that a male subject fell out of his wheelchair and cut his arm. There was no transport. -Irrig o n A m b u lance received report of a possible accident on Hwy. 730/Paterson Ferry Rd. There was no transport. -Irrigon Fire De partment received report of a possible accident on Hwy. 730/Paterson Ferry Rd. It was non medical. October 30: Mor row County Sheriff’s Of fice received two reports of a vehicle possibly with a suicidal subject on 1-84, Boardman. -MCSO received report that Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kory L. Woodard, 40, on an Irrigon Justice Court war rant for Failure to Pay Fine/ Driving While Suspended. He was transported to Yam hill County Jail awaiting extradition with $1,199 bail. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon woman that her neighbor’s dogs keep coming in her yard and barking. The dog owners were warned to keep their dogs home. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon sub ject that his neighbor’s dogs attacked his dog and he didn’t know if his dog was okay. He said the neigh b o r’s dogs were on his porch when they attacked. -M CSO arrested Donald Lienol Baldwin, Jr., on a Benton County Sheriff’s Office warrant for a conditional release viola tion with four additional warrants. Bail was set at $ 20 , 000 . -MCSO received report of a sign down on Depot Lane/Paterson Ferry Rd. in Irrigon. -MCSO deputy re ported he was out with a large group of campers on a Forest Service Rd. A cita tion was issued. -MCSO cited Ger man T. Ayala, 51, for Vio lation of the Speed Limit, driving 77 mph in a 55 mph zone and Driving Un insured. -MCSO received a request for contact with a female subject who pos sibly lived in Irrigon. A MCSO sergeant went to the location, but the house looked vacant. -MCSO received report o f a house broken into in Irrigon. The caller requested a deputy to re spond. -MCSO received req u est from U m atilla County to locate a black pickup with Florida plates. A subject was reported to have left the Riverside highly intoxicated. -MCSO received report of something going on in Boardman, but the female caller would not provide information as to what was going on. -M C S O d ep u ty advised he was out with a male subject slumped over his steering wheel. The subject was sleeping. The deputy advised the subject was now in his house. -M C SO c ite d a 17-year-old juvenile for Disobeying Traffic Control Device in Irrigon. -Boardman Police Department received report of an alarm at the delivery door of a Boardman busi ness. -B P D re c e iv e d report from a Boardman woman that her 16-year-old daughter was not asleep in the house at 6:29 a.m. The mother thought the girl was at her boyfriend’s house. She called back to advise that her daughter returned home and to disregard the call. -BPD received re port from a subject who said that she had followed a car from town being driven recklessly. The caller ad vised the two people in the car were throw ing their hands up, hollering and one was trying to open the door while the vehicle was moving. -B P D a d v is e d someone stole the battery out of his vehicle. -BPD received re quest from an apartment manager to have someone trespassed from the prop erty. -BPD received re port of two males who were on the bridge and threw something off. -B P D a r r e s te d Brenda Galvin, 19, on a M orrow County C ircuit Court warrant for Failure to A ppear/U nauthorized Use o f a Motor Vehicle. She was lodged at Umatilla County Jail. -BPD officer initi ated a request for vehicle registration information for a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. -BPD received re port from an apartm ent manager that one of his ten ants had the back window broken out of his vehicle. -BPD officer re ported he found a bike on the comer. -BPD received re port of a vehicle parked illegally that was a hazard. -Irrig o n A m bu lance received report of a male who had been stung by a bee and was going into anaphylactic shock. October 31: Mor row County Sheriff’s Office cited Casey Luna Lopez, 19, for Failure to Drive Within Lane. -MCSO received report of a fight in progress at a park in Irrigon. The caller did not specify which park before he hung up. A deputy checked all Irrigon parks and was unable to locate anything. -M CSO arrested Davia Dianna Caldera, 34, on a Umatilla County Sher iff’s Office warrant. She was lodged at U m atilla County Jail. -MCSO received report o f a female with a baby walking west in Irrigon. The female was reported to be pushing a cart with her belongings in it. The call was unfounded. The female was just doing her laundry. -MCSO received a request for information as to why the caller’s trailer was tagged while parked in front of his sister’s house in Irrigon. The vehicle was parked facing the wrong way. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon sub ject that his oxygen ma chines were not working and his caretaker does not come in until 10 a.m. The caller said he woke up and could not breathe. -MCSO received report from an in-home day care provider that one of the parents has not paid her and avoids her contact. A deputy made contact and reported it is a civil issue. -MCSO received report from a subject that another subject was driving again. The caller said he saw her driving away from the emergency entrance at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Heppner. The deputy was out of position on a call. -MCSO received report from subjects that they had left property at the OHV park outside Heppner. A deputy assisted. -MCSO received report of a sign run over. The deputy was able to repair the sign for the time being. -MCSO received report from Irrigon children that a small white kitten had been following them. They gave it to the deputy who transported it to Pet Rescue. -MCSO cited Jose Pena, 19, for No Operator’s License. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon sub ject that they were to have a bonfire, which she had a permit for it. -MCSO received report of five or six teenag ers who ran towards a car and threw eggs at the ve hicle and at kids who were trick or treating. -MCSO cited Me linda Marie Dennis, 40, for Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device and Driving Uninsured. -M C SO d ep u ty made contact with a dis abled vehicle in Boardman. The vehicle had a flat tire and a tow was en route. -MCSO received report that a male subject was at an Irrigon location even though the people who live there say he wasn’t. -MCSO received report of a subject fight ing with another unknown subject in Heppner. -MCSO received report of a trespass in prog ress in Heppner. -Boardman Police Department officer advised he was with a manager to trespass a subject from the premises. -BPD received re / port of people blocking no parking signs and hindering a truck at an Oregon Potato field. -BPD cited Veroni ca Andrade, 29, for Driving While Suspended-violation and Endangering a Child passenger, seatbelt. -BPD received re port from a subject that she heard voices inside a residence that she was house sitting. She said that no one was supposed to be in the residence and wanted an officer to check it out. An officer responded and advised that everything at the residence was okay. -BPD received re port from a subject who was living by a gas station that a garbage can blew up and hit a truck. The reporter said that the employees wouldn’t give him informa tion for the store and wanted help getting the info. BPD advised it was a civil matter since it happened on private property. -BPD cited David Ramirez, 27, for Less Than One Ounce of Marijuana. -BPD received re port of two females, small in stature, ruining people’s pumpkins. -BPD received re port that a group o f ju veniles threw something at a residence. The caller wanted an officer to re spond. An officer responded and advised it was Criminal Mischief III. -BPD received re port from a woman that her husband had just run outside chasing kids who egged his pickup. -BPD received re port of a vehicle hit with eggs and several residences also hit. -BPD officer ad vised he was out with six- eight juveniles. -BPD received re port that someone threw eggs at their house and vehicles. They wanted an officer to respond. -Irrig o n A m bu lance received report of a 40-year-old female who fell off a horse earlier that day. She was transported. November 1: The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received report of a male subject dressed in black in the lot near Idaho and ninth streets in Irrigon. The caller said the subject appeared to be hunched over or leaning down. -MCSO received report o f a grey Dodge pickup on the road about two feet from the fog line in Irrigon. The subject was at the gas station because he had run out of fuel. -MCSO cited Luis Gerardo Cadenas Nunez, 22, for D riving W hile Suspended-violation. The vehicle was released to another subject with a valid license. -MCSO received report o f a truck that had been gone through in Hep pner, possibly by kids. The caller said the board had been drawn on. Nothing appeared to be missing, but the caller wouldn’t be sure until an inventory was done the following Monday. -MCSO made two attempts to contact a subject for civil service, but the male subject was reported to be in a treatment facility in Washington. -MCSO received report of a deer hit and still alive in a ditch on Hwy. 74, Heppner. A deputy re sponded. -MCSO received report of a Gremlin that had been hot-rodding around for days, burning rubber and tire squealing in Board- man. An officer responded, but was unable to locate the vehicle. He advised he would keep looking for it. -MCSO received report from a Lexington subject that their horse got out. They told the sheriff’s office that if they got any calls, they would respond to pick the animal up. -MCSO responded to assist Umatilla County for a verbal domestic/men- acing situation. A UCSO deputy wanted MCSO to speak with the male half of the dispute regarding this incident. -M CSO, Irrigon Fire Department received report o f people around a fire that was shooting sparks around 30 feet into the air between Utah and California streets in Irrigon. The subjects had a burning permit, but didn’t know there was no burning after dark. -Boardman Police Department responded to assist in the identification of a driver. -BPD received re port of a suspicious vehicle that had been parked behind Riverside High School since the previous Thursday. -BPD advised an officer would be out on foot patrol for a large soccer tournament going on. -BPD received re port from a subject that his house was egged. An officer responded. -BPD cited Jose Martin Salas, 22, for No Operator’s License. November 2: Mor row County Sheriff’s Office received report of a speed ing vehicle on Hwy. 730, Irrigon. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon sub ject that he and his wife got into an argument, nothing physical, but he got out of the vehicle at his parents’ house. He reported that his wife got the kids from the babysitter in Hermiston and took them to an unknown location in Washington. He said she let him talk to the kids for a minute the previ ous day, but she had not answered calls or text. He said he called his mother- in-law, but she hung up on him. The wife was reached and asked that he not bother her any more. -MCSO received report from a Boardman woman that her soon-to- be ex-husband was at the door and trying to force his way in after an argument. MCSO spoke to the male half and asked him to leave. No crime was committed and he left the scene. -MCSO received report of a deer with a bro ken neck on Emigrant Rd. The deer was dispatched. -M C S O d e p u ty advised he was patrolling lone. -MCSO deputy re ported a yield sign down and post broken off. The road department was ad vised. -MCSO received report o f 40 head of cattle out on Peters in Boardman heading for Wilson. Neigh bors came and rounded up the cattle. -MCSO received report o f a runaway with the girl reported to be at her father’ house in Irrigon. The mother report ed that Salem Police De partment told her that she needed to get the daughter that day or they would put a runaway APB out on her and issue a warrant for her husband. The daughter was returned to her mother. -MCSO received report that OSP arrested Francis David Peska, 70, on a Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Driving While Suspended. He was lodged at the K lam ath County Jail. -MCSO received report from an Irrigon man that his neighbor parks a 10- wheel truck on his property. When MCSO responded, the truck was gone. -MCSO received report of a deer hit by the golf course in Heppner and the deer is still alive.
