Sheriff’s Report The Morrow Coun ty Sheriff’s Office reports handling the follow ing business: -Continued from Page EIGHT -MCSO received a report of a trespass in prog ress. The caller stated that the male subject was hunt ing on property that he had been told to stay off of. -MCSO received a driving complaint ffom an Irrigon resident. The reporter stated that a female subject was driving care lessly and trying to hit kids in the area. The reporter stated that the driver would yell at the kids and dare them come into the street so she could hit them with the car. While MCSO was talking with the reporter, the driver in question called in to the sheriff’s office to advise that she was being harassed by a female (the reporter). The driver stated that the female would jump in front of her car and yell and throw rocks at her car. The driver stated that the female would yell at her to slow down even though she was only going 20 mph. The driver also said that her son had been harassed by the female last year. -MCSO received a report of a group of ju veniles causing problems while they were trying to move their grandmother out of a residence. Juveniles said they would leave the residence for a few hours so that they could move in peace. -M CSO arrested Dave Howard Erickson on a Heppner Justice Court war rant for Failure to Pay Fine/ Driving Under Influence of Intoxicants. The subject was also arrested on Kenton County, Kentucky, warrant for Flagrant Non Support. -BPD issued a cita tion to a female subject for Violating the Speed Limit by going 54 mph in a 35 mph zone. -BPD issued a ci tation to Marisela Gaytan Avalos, 41, for Violating the Speed Limit by going 43 mph in a 30 mph zone. October 8: Mor row County Sheri fFs Office received report from a Lex ington man that his 13-year- old daughter heard some one knock on her window, which was followed by a phone call to her cell phone from an unrecognized num ber. MCSO made contact with the subjects who were knocking and calling and they advised they would not do it again. -M CSO , Irrigon Ambulance, Irrigon Fire Department received report of a subject in Irrigon who fell asleep at the wheel and then woke, swerved to avoid a dog and went into a ditch. The back windshield was broken out, but the 19-year-old male subject didn’t believe he was hurt. He also hit an electric fence and sideswiped a tree. -MCSO received report that a Lexington man was driving a vehicle with expired tags. The caller said he probably didn’t have insurance either and wanted him cited. -MCSO received report of someone parked at an Irrigon residence and was going through the out- sheds. She said that a male came to her residence and asked to use her tools and electrical cords. MCSO arrested Shalon Garlynn Angel, 32, on a Morrow County warrant for Fail ure to Appear/Dangerous Drugs. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $15,000 bail. He was also arrested on a Umatilla Po lice Department warrant for FTA/FTA with $1,705 full bail required. -MCSO received report that school kids were kicking at the boards of a burned-out shed in the field next to the caller’s residence and playing on the property. The kids were waiting for the school bus. -MCSO received a report from a Heppner woman that someone was knocking on her door in the middle o f the night, more often than in the past. This time she heard knock ing and someone saying something at 3 a.m. She said she didn’t know what to do about it and requested deputy contact. -MCSO received report of a vehicle hit and run in a parking lot in Hep pner. The suspect vehicle was a new white SUV with a Campbell Motors plate. -MCSO received report of a vehicle with a camper pulled off the side of the road in an unusual spot at Cutsforth Park/Coalmine Hill. A deputy responded ad advised the vehicle didn’t appear to have any damages and appears to be okay. -MCSO received report of a semi truck with the driver asleep on 1-84, Boardman. The call was transferred to Oregon State Police. -MCSO received report o f cars speeding up and down W ashing ton Street in Irrigon in the morning and evening. -MCSO cited No len Brice Brock, 50, for Driving While Suspended- violation. -MCSO received report from a H eppner rancher that his hired hand had seen a subject in an older Datsun pickup with a shell top and bad paint spotlighting deer sometime after midnight on the ranch. The vehicle fled the scene. The caller requested extra patrol. -MCSO received report from a subject on 1-84 that he hit a deer on the freeway. There was no damage to the highway, but damage to the truck. -MCSO received report of a deer hit, but still alive on Hwy. 730, Lexing ton. A deputy responded and ODOT was to respond to pick up the animal. -M CSO, Irrigon Fire Department received multiple 911 calls concern ing a big fire in Irrigon. It was just the Irrigon High School homecoming fire. -MCSO cited Shel by Ann Henrichs, 36, for Driving While Suspended- violation. -MCSO deputy re ported he checked out a sus picious vehicle in Irrigon. The occupants worked for the school. -MCSO assisted in removing a dead deer from the highway on 1-84, Board- man. There was no damage to the vehicle. -Boardman Police Department received report of a door open at a shed in Boardman with equipment exposed. -Boardman Police Department received report of a drive off in Boardman. It was determined that the subjects did pay. -BPD officer re ported he was at Riverside High School assisting the Department of Human Re sources. -BPD received re port of an audible fire alarm. It was a false alarm. -Irrig o n A m bu lance received report from an Irrigon man that his wife was experiencing a 104 degree fever with chills, was disoriented and had trouble talking. She was transported to Good Shep herd Hospital. October 9: Mor row County Sheriff’s Of fice received report that Kimberly A. Forsythe was lodged at Marion County Jail with $1099 bail in full on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/Failure to Appear- Driving While Suspended. -MCSO arrested Gustavo F. Barrera, 18, on a Hermiston Police Depart ment warrant for Failure to Appear/Assault IV, Disor derly Conduct, Minor in Possession-A lcohol. He was cited and released with $10,000 bail. -MCSO deputy re ported he was out at a loca tion with a fire burning. The subject was given a warning and put out the fire. -MCSO, Boardman Ambulance, Boardman Fire Department received report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the vicinity of Threemile Farms. One driving was in the car, hold ing his stomach. The other driver was out of the vehicle and walking around. -MCSO received report of a missing hunter- 52 years old, male with black jeans, camo jacket and blaze orange hat. He was found. -M C SO d ep u ty made contact with a pos sible disabled vehicle. The driver was making a phone call and would move on. -MCSO received report of a blonde woman in a red Dodge Caravan driv ing 65-70 miles per hour in Irrigon. -MCSO received a noise complaint on the back side of the turkey shoots in Irrigon with the caller’s neighbors playing their base very loud. A deputy made contact and the sub jects turned the music off. -M C SO d ep u ty reported he was out with someone w alking down the middle of the road in Ir rigon. A 16-year-old subject was pushing a wheel chair with her mother. They were advised it was not safe to push a wheel chair down the road in the middle of the night. -MCSO deputy re ported he was out assisting OSP on a traffic stop. -MCSO received report o f a possible dis abled vehicle in Heppner. A deputy advised there was no one around the vehicle and he would check on it later. -M C SO deput y advised he was patrolling the Irrigon football game on foot. !
