This po sition provides mental health nursing care, medi cation oversight, medica tion related treatment, ad ministers medications and hypodermic injections, follows physician's pre scriptions and procedures, takes and records mea sures of patients general physical condition such as vital signs to provide daily information, educates and trains staff on medica tion administration, and ensures documentation is kept according to policies. This position works with the treatment team to pro mote recovery from men tal illness. In addition, this position will participate in an on call rotation provid ing after hours and week end emergency services. This includes telephone consultation and crisis intervention in the facil ity. Qualified applicant must have a valid Oregon Registered Professional Nurse's license at the time of appointment, hold a val id Oregon drivers license and pass a criminal history background check.
