Bev S teag ll and Karen Thom pson shot a perfect net round leaving their ball in the cup on #9. The special awards o f the day were won by Nancy Propheter, KP on # 1; Eva Kilkenny, drive on the green on #4; Bev Steagall, long putt on #5; and Karen Thompson and Jackie All- stott, long drives on #6. Play o f the day winners were: 1", Pat Ed- mundson; 2IMl, Jackie All- stott; 3rd, Pat Dougherty; 4th, tie between Bev Steagall and Karen Thompson ; 5th, Eva Kilkenny; 6 '\ Corol Mitchell; 7th Ann Elgin; and 8th, Bernice Lott. Sheriffs Report The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office reports han dling the following busi ness: May 5: Morrow C ounty S h e riff’s O ffice cited Bruce Joseph Hanson, 59, for driving 34 mph in a 20 mph school zone. -MCSO cited Luis Castaneda-Ibarra, 61, for V io latio n o f the S peed Limit, 34 mph in a 20 mph zone; Failure to Carry Proof of Insurance and Improper Display o f Stickers. -M CSO received report of four-five horses very thin, appearing in bad shape with no feed in pas ture in Irrigon. The horses were rescued horses and were being cared for. -MCSO cited Ste phen J. Hopkins, 75, for driving 82 mph in a 55 mph zone. -M CSO received report o f a m ale subject who was getting mad at the district attorney’s staff at the Morrow County Court house. -M CSO received report o f a person having difficulties in Heppner. A deputy contacted the juveniles and their m other and advised that they cannot ride on the street if they don’t have helmets. -MCSO under sher iff advised he was out with a subject at a location picking up wood. The manager was contacted and the subject worked at the location and is allowed to get wood from the scrap pile. -M C SO receiv ed report o f w ater shooting about 50 feet in the air in Heppner. Public works re sponded. -Boardman Police D epartm ent officer co n tacted a subject who said he was getting some sleep and then would be on his way. -BPD received re quest for officer concerning telephone harassment. -BPD received re port of a 50-year-old man sleep in g on a b en ch in Boardman. The caller said she bought the subject a Greyhound bus ticket and he would be taking the 4 p.m. bus from Stanfield. The subject walks with a cane and has a physical boot on his left foot. -BPD received re port from a female subject in B oardm an th at there were broken beer bottles in the road and she didn’t want her pickup tires to get a flat. An officer contacted both parties and caller was advised the proper use o f 911 . -BPD received re port from a subject at an apartment complex that a man had been trespassed from the complex. Chris topher Dewayne Schneider, 26, was cited for illegal stopping, standing or park ing and failure to secure motor vehicle. He was also cited for Open Container re garding a DUII traffic stop that occurred earlier. -BPD received re port o f a vehicle parked at an apartment in Board- man, then left and went by the caller’s residence at a Our Rates Really Stack Up high rate o f speed. Caller requested extra patrol. -BPD received re port o f a vehicle swerving on the roadw ay on 1-84. BPD cited Filogonio Mar tinez Nava, 24, for No Op e ra to r’s License, driving outside provisions. -H eppner A m bu lance received request for ambulance for a 72-year- old fem ale w ith trouble breathing due to extreme nausea. She was transported to Pioneer Memorial Hos pital. May 6: M orrow C ounty S h e riff’s O ffice cited John Bradley Stander- fer, 52, for driving 73 mph in a 55 mph zone. M CSO re c e iv e d report from a Boardm an subject that a male subject keeps calling her and he has a restraining order against him. -MCSO, Boardman Police Department, Board- man Ambulance received report o f a 66-year-old fe male in Boardman ill with a bronchial infection having trouble breathing and weak. She w as tra n sp o rte d to Good Shepherd Hospital. -M C SO received report o f garbage and debris at an Irrigon location. -M CSO received re p o rt from an Irrig o n woman that her soon-to-be ex-husband called her and made threats against her. -M CSO received report from a subject who said he was assaulted by the m anager o f an apartment complex in Boardman and two other subjects. MCSO arrested Eusevio Chavallo, 47, for Harassment, Stran gulation, Menacing, Theft by Extortion, Disorderly C onduct II and Crim inal Trespass II. He was lodged at U m atilla C ounty Jail with $32,000 bail. MCSO arrested Edgar Ariel Juarez, 41, for Disorderly Conduct KK, C rim in al T resp ass II, Conspiracy -to Commit T h eft by E x to rtio n and Conspiracy to Commit Ha rassment. He was lodged at U m atilla C ounty Jail with $20,000 bail. MCSO arrested Ascención Med- era Garcia, 29, for Disor derly Conduct II, Criminal Trespass II, Conspiracy to Commit Theft by Extortion and Conspiracy to Commit Harassment. He was lodged at UCJ with $20,000 bail. He was also arrested on a U m atilla County C ircuit Court warrant for Failure to A ppear/tw o counts o f Furnishing Liquor to a Mi nor and Failure to Perform Duties o f a Witness. Bail was set at $5,000. -M C SO received report that the ju n k and garbage at the old school in Morgan is getting worse and now there is a trailer house that had been burned and other junk on the prop erty. -M C SO received report o f a suspicious ve h ic le on fie ld ro ad s on farm property in lone. OSP checked the area and was unable to locate anyone. The call was give to Gilliam County Sheriff’s Office w ho contacted the reporter. -M C SO received report from a Boardm an woman that a male subject keeps calling and texting her with a restraining or der in place. Oregon State Police arrested Douglas C. Robertson, 38, on a MCSO restraining order violation. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $5,000 bail. -M C SO received report from an Irrigon wom an that her Chevy Blazer was stolen. Her husband later called her and advised he had the vehicle and was in Portland. A restraining order was in place, but the vehicle was not stolen as they are still married. -M C SO received re p o rt from an Irrig o n woman that the bus driver didn’t let the caller’s daugh ter off at her residence, but instead d ropped her o ff at a friend’s house, which is w here she is u su a lly dropped off. A deputy made contact and the caller was to meet with the bus company supervisor. -M C SO received report of an audible alarm at the Heppner grocery store. It was set off by accident. -Boardman Police Department cited a subject w ith M IP-alcohol at the Port o f Morrow. ----- -BPD received re port from a Boardman man that his nine-year-old son was assaulted (strangula tion) by an 11-year old. -BPD , Boardm an A m bulance received re quest for an ambulance for a 30-year-old male with neck pain and trouble b reath ing. The patient refused transport. -Heppner Fire De partm ent received report o f flames above/behind the Stable o f Youth in Heppner. It was a possible controlled bum. -BPD received re port o f a grass fire on Hwy. 147/1-84. -Irrigon Fire D e partm ent, Irrigon A m bu lance received report o f a general fire alarm in Irrigon. It was a false alarm M ay 7: M orrow C ounty S h e riff’s O ffice received a report of people making a lot o f noise in the Main and Baltimore streets area in Heppner, intoxicated and possibly fighting. A deputy made contact and advised there was no fight ing. -M C SO received report o f dogs in Lexing ton slipping their chains and running and barking at night. -MCSO cited John F ru to s, 61, for D riving W hile S u sp en d ed -v io la tion. The vehicle was im pounded. -MCSO deputy made contact with a sub jec t in the Fairview/Four Mile Canyon area o f lone. The subject advised he was walking the Oregon Trail backwards. -M CSO received report o f a young female w alking around incoher ent and barely responsive, possibly on drugs, asking subjects to use their cell phones. The call was re ferred to Hermiston. -M C SO received a 911 call advising that the “ factory w arrant on my vehicle has expired.’’ -M CSO received report from an Irrigon City w orker who said that a semi passed in the center lane in the school zone in Irrigon. The w orker said he was sign the citation. M CSO deputy stopped the vehicle at Hwy. 730 milepost 178. The driver was advised he would receive a citation in the mail. -MCSO received a 911 hang-up call. The sub ject advised that he dialed a number and it came up 911. The MCSO also dialed the number and it did come up 911. -M CSO received report o f a neglected horse at an Irrigon location with no food or water seen. A deputy responded and de term ined the report was unfounded. -Boardman Police Department officer picked up a long-haired Chihuahua in B oardm an and tra n s ported it to Pet Rescue. -BPD received a new report o f graffiti. -BPD served a tem porary stalking order on subjects in Boardman. -BPD received re quest for an officer at the m arina concerning a re port o f juveniles playing with airsoft guns and who pointed one of the guns at the reporter.
