CARD O FT H A N K S We blame a technologi cal glitch for an omission in our “thank you’s” of last week, and we correct that now. “Rails, Riches, and Rejection” needed Dale Bates, as proven by his handling of the sound sys tem at the performance. This play was more com plicated than anything we had previously under taken, in the number of characters in some scenes and in the number of stag es, so we needed reliable remote microphones and someone who knew how to work them effectively. Dale handled the order ing for us, figured out a system that would work as we changed characters and microphones, and calmly managed to work with the changes we made that evening. Dale was assisted, as he often is when handling the sound system at any given function, by Sheryll, who is great to work with on any project, as well as ef ficient and resourceful. Thank you to two more very busy people who vol unteered their time and talents to help us present our historical play.
