Cox was also convicted o f DUII, a Class A misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 180 days with 178 days suspended, 24 months bench probation, complete 40 hours o f community service, and other numerous conditions. Total fines, fees and assessments are $2,426. -Amanda Fredrickson, 21, was convicted o f Un lawful Possession o f a Controlled Substance, a Class B misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 18 months probation, 90/30 units, complete 80 hours o f community service, complete a drug package, other numerous conditions, and pay $1,348 in fines, fees and assessments. Justice Court Our Basket M ik e G o r m a n Representatives from the Ontario Wal-Mart presented the Wal-Mart Teacher o f the Year Award to Tina Joyce, Math Intervention Specialist and Juanita Davila, ESL teacher, on Friday, November 21. Joyce is the daughter o f Gary and Marcia Kemp o f Lexington. The Wal-Mart Teacher o f the Year Award recog nizes teachers for their outstanding service. Wal-Mart donated $250 into the teachers’ personal classroom supply accounts. OMS received an additional $1,000 for supplies. There were over 2,200 entries this year for this award from students and parents. Joyce and Davila both received over 45 individual entries. The Heppner High School Civics Club will host a soup feed on Friday, December 5, during the basketball games at the high school. The feed will begin at 4:30 p.m. Morrow County Justice Court Judge Charlotte and will cost $5. Gray has released the following report: The club will also sell steer raffle tickets during -Keri Anne Martin, 30, Heppner, DUII, $1,612 Friday’s game at 4:30 p.m. and Saturday’s game at 1 p.m. fine. Rodarte, 23, on an Irrigon Justice Court War rant for failing to pay fine on possession o f less than one ounce o f marijuana.
