North East Area Commission on Transportation to meet The North East Area Commission on Transpor tation (NEACT) will hold its next meeting on August 7 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Oregon Department o f Transportation (ODOT) Re gion 5 Headquarters, located at 3012 Island Avenue in La Grande. The NEACT, com p rised o f tra n sp o rta tio n stakeholders from Morrow, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa and Baker counties, and the Confederated Tribes o f the U m atilla Indian R eserva tion, helps identify and pri oritize transportation-related projects in the five-county area. The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities, per the Ameri cans with Disabilities Act. The general public is invited to attend.
