Thirty-one test pits and eight borings were dug across the site to provide a full analysis o f the ground below the surface o f the course area, and an evaluation o f the seismic activity in areas designated for the six-story club house and grandstand areas. Eight- plus miles o f access service roads, boarding the 1-84 freeway and Tower Road In terchange Site were rough- cut into the 1,482-acre site.
