MCSO received an other call and it was the hom eowner - the vehicle went through three fences and into her porch (not into her house). Law and fire enforcement responded. He was lodged at NORCOR/ Adult. MCSO received a re port from a caller in Irrigon that there was an intoxicated male that got gasoline at the Shell station and there was a young child in the vehicle. The caller was worried for the child’s safety. MCSO received a report from a caller on 1-84/ Highway 730 that a vehicle hit a guard rail and spun a few times; the caller was ahead o f the vehicle. MCSO, Boardman ambulance received a report from a caller in Boardman that his wife was unable to get onto her feet. Lee came to Heppner four months ago to fill the pulpit at the Nazarene Church. He moved from central Idaho with his wife, Wanda. They have four children, three sons living in Pocatello, ID, Yakima, WA, and Femdale, WA, and a daughter who lives in Nezperce, ID. Bom in Cottonwood, ID, Lee says Heppner is probably the furthest he has ever been from home. But he is pleased at how much the community reminds him o f hom e. Lee sees many similarities between Hep pner and the area that he has always lived in. At one time Lee worked in a mill for many years until it was shut down. He later worked for 30 years in the woods. And up until he moved to Heppner, Lee was a cattle rancher and logger, selling his cattle before moving to Heppner. It was only later in his life that he was called into the ministry. The move was fairly easy on L ee’s w ife also. Dec. 24: MCSO re ceived a request from the Oregon State Police for as sistance to locate a vehicle out o f Washington that was last seen heading toward Irrigon. There was a prob able cause for arrest for an assault on a female subject. MCSO received a report o f a suspect vehicle on 1-84 eastbound regard ing a theft that occurred on Dec. 23. It was determined the vehicle was not the right one. M C S O , H eppner Fire Dept., Heppner ambu lance received a report from a caller on Highway 74 o f a vehicle off the road. It was determined it was not a mo tor vehicle accident; it was just som eone who pulled over to talk to a farmer. MCSO received a report from a caller in Ir rigon that her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend were over last night and now there are items missing. MCSO received a report from a caller in Hep pner o f a possible broken water meter. Heppner Public Works was advised. MCSO received a report o f an audible alarm at a business location in Ir rigon. MCSO received a re port from a caller in Irrigon that someone was riding up and down the street on a dirt bike and scaring the caller's horses. The caller requested a deputy make contact with the person on the dirt bike, and if there is anything the caller can do. MCSO deputy cited Sean Anthony Carey, 20, for Violation o f the Speed years Lee has been w o r k i ng on fin ish in g modul e courses to become a minister through theNorth- w e s t District Norman Lee Nazarene Church who is associated with the North west Nazarene University out o f Nappa. He has been an associate pastor in Ka- miah, ID for three o f those years. When Lee finished his schooling, he was notified by the district superinten dent that he would be mov ing to Heppner to pastor the Nazarene Church. Lee says he is hav ing a grand time in Heppner and has fallen in love with the community. “About 13 years ago I got the call to go into the ministry,” said Lee. “It has been quite a trip, you just have to hang on. I don't herd cattle anymore, I herd people.” Lee wants the people in the community to know that they are all in vited at anytime to come to the church. MCSO received a report from a caller in Ir rigon that a female subject is not returning the children on Christmas Eve despite a parenting plan. MCSO, Boardman Police Dept, received a re layed report from Oregon State Police o f a possible DUII on 1-84 eastbound. The original caller reported the vehicle was not main taining its lane. The vehicle stopped and the caller spoke to the fem ale driver. The driver slurred her words and didn’t know where she was. The veh icle was located parked at a residence and the Oregon State Police arrested the female subject. MCSO received a report from a caller on 1-84 eastbound o f a p o ssib le DUII. Oregon State Police was advised. MCSO received a report from a caller in Ir rigon regarding a dispute about visitation rights and a male subject is ringing the doorbell and will not leave. The subject was trespassed from the residence. MCSO received a report from a caller in Ir rigon regarding a band in a bam and it was loud. MCSO deputy responded and the subject was told to turn it down. Boardm an Pol i ce Dept, received a report from the North Shell station in Boardman that approximate ly 800 gallons o f furnace oil was taken from the rear o f the store. It was determined to be a leaky tank. Boardman Pol i ce Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman that he let someone borrow an Xbox that he borrowed from a friend. The friend now wants the Xbox back.
