SIX - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, August 8, 20Ó7 Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff's Office reports han dling the follow ing busi ness: July 25 continued: MCSO reported a power at the communication center. There was still power at the sheriff’s office. -MCSO received re port of a 30-acre controlled bum on Hwy. 207. -MCSO received re port of a two-year-old boxer, answering to Harley lost in Irrigon. -MCSO, Boardman Police Department received report from a juvenile in Hermiston that his brother grabbed him by the throat. Department o f Human Ser vices was adv ised, but there was not enough evidence for a crime. -MCSO received re port o f a vehicle that had left the Boardman east-bound rest area with a child not in a seat belt. OSP was advised. -MCSO received re port from a Heppner man that a gray male dog has been harassing his female dogs in heat and attacking cats in the area. He was looking for the owner. -MCSO received re port from an Irrigon woman that her boyfriend had just hit her and then drove off. She refused an ambulance. -MCSO received re port o f a driver possibly hav ing no operator’s license, heading down Second St. in Irrigon in the wrong gear. -M C SO re c e iv e d report o f a subject walking with children in Irrigon who was nipped by a dog. -M C S O re c e iv e d report from Tri-County dis patch o f two suspicious fires along the freeway, possibly arson. -B oardm an Police Department, Boardman Fire Department received report o f a suspicious fire at Three- Mile Canyon. -B PD cited Vikas Dhiman, 23, for Violation o f the Speed Limit, 92 mph in a 65 mph zone. -BPD cited Gabino Gonzalez, 26, for Violation o f the Basic Rule, 76 mph in a 55 mph zone. -BPD received re port o f a possible stalker at the south Shell station in Boardman. An 18-year-old male was escorted from the premises. -BPD cited a juve nile driver for having no operator’s license and driv ing outside prov isions. -BPD cited Robert Neal Richards, 49, for Fail ure to Obey a Traffic Control Device. -Irrigon Fire Depart ment received a report o f a brush fire at the Irrigon Ma rina. There was no fire. J u ly 26: M CSO received report o f 10-15 people at the skate park in Irrigon with loud m usic playing. Two juveniles were warned that the park closes at midnight. -MCSO received re port that a bike was stolen between 10 p.m. and mid night in Irrigon. -MCSO deputy ad vised he was patrolling For est Service 21 Rd. areas closed due to fire. -M C SO re c e iv e d report that someone tried to steal the reporter’s four- w heeler out o f her truck sometime the previous night in Irrigon. -M C SO re c e iv e d report o f a Toyota pickup stuck in the Ditch Creek area. A deputy and tow ar rived. -MCSO, Boardman Ambulance received report of a 62-year-old incoherent fem ale subject who was experiencing dizziness, hot and cold flashes. She was transported to Good Shep herd Hospital. -M C SO re c e iv e d report o f a motor vehicle accident with a subject with an open head wound on Big Butter Creek. -MCSO received a report from a subject who said that a woman has been going door to door spread ing lies about her in lone. -MCSO received re port o f a bloated dead cow on the side o f the road on east 1-84 and Tower Road. The owner removed it. -M C SO serv ed a warrant to Jade R. Alexan der, 21, for DUII. -MCSO cited Rabun Wilson Thompson, 52, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 82 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO, Boardman Police D epartm ent, Irri gon Ambulance, Boardman Fire Department, Boardman Ambulance received report o f a motor vehicle accident on the road to Oregon Hay near the railroad tracks. The driver was able to get out of the car and appeared non- injured. -MCSO cited a 17- year-old Heppner juvenile for Driv ing While Suspend ed. Jennifer Thompson and Richard Campbell Wedding on Saturday, August 11, 2007 Samantha Wilhelm and Sean Linkel Wedding on Saturday, August 25, 2007 K atie Walton and Michael Duncan Wedding on Saturday, September 1, 2007 -M C SO re ceiv ed report that the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office ar rested Antonio Hernandez Duran, 35, for Failure to Appear/Contempt of Court. He was lodged at Clacka m as C o u n ty C ourt w ith $30,000. -MCSO cited Drion Mark Donner, 18, for En dangering the Welfare of a Minor. -M C S O a rre s te d Victor Allen Klinger on a M ultnomah County Sher iff’s Office warrant for Pos session o f a Controlled Sub stance II and a Clark County warrant for conditional re lease violation/Possession o f a Controlled Substance/ methamphetamine. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $5,000 bail. -MCSO received re port of an intoxicated female who is bi-polar assaulting a male at a residence. She was reported to be kicking him. There were no deputies in the area. Oregon State Po lice responded. -Boardm an Police Department received report of a stolen vehicle in Herm iston with two Boardman m ales the suspects. The vehicle was located in the Hermiston area. -BPD received re port from a woman who said the water underneath her residence was continu ously running and causing her walls to crack. -BPD arrested Mark T hom as K eg ler, 52, on Umatilla County warrants. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail. -BPD received re quest for an officer for an assault at a Boardman motel. The subject was intoxicated and would spend the night at the motel. -BPD cited Kenneth James Sicard, 47, for No Insurance and Disobeying Traffic Control Device. The vehicle was impounded. -Irrigon Ambulance received report o f a two- year-old male with seizures and in and out o f conscious ness and barely breathing. -Boardman Fire De partment received request for a brush rig at Philippi Canyon. July 27: MCSO re ceived report o f an MIP party on Highway 207 in Heppner. -MCSO received re port o f three people walk ing in front o f an Irrigon residence twice, standing in front of the residence upset ting the reporter’s dog. -MCSO arrested Da vid Robert LaSalle, 29, on U m atilla C ounty C ircuit Court warrants for Failure to Appear/Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Attempt ing to Elude by Vehicle and DUII, Failure to Appear/ Driving While Suspended; Union County Circuit Court warrants for two counts o f Failure to A ppear/D U II, F T A /H arassm en t, FTA/ Reckless Driving, Driving While Suspended, Failure to Perform Duties o f a Driver, FTA/Driving W hile Sus pended. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $85,000 bail. -MCSO received re port that the Salem Police Department arrested Todd Patrick Copenhaver, 25, on a M.C. Circuit Court war rant for Failure to Appear/ Possession o f a Controlled Substance 11 and DUII. He was lodged at Marion County Jail with no bail. -MCSO deputy ad vised that he was patrolling Forest Service Rd. 21 areas closed due to fire. -MCSO received re port that the bank in Irrigon had been toilet-papered and egged. The complainant re quested deputy response. -M C SO re c e iv e d report of a phone found in front of the library in Hep pner. -MCSO received re quest from a woman who needed assistance in getting her husband up in Irrigon. -MCSO received re port of a man threatening a female in Boardman. -MCSO received re quest for deputy regarding activity at an Irrigon farm with fuel taken. -MCSO, Boardman Police Department received report of an older while Lin coln all over the road, a beer can thrown out of the car and a child in the vehicle not in a car seat. Illeen Ramirez, 25, was cited for Driving While Suspended m isdem eanor and two counts of Failure to Wear Seatbelt. -M C SO re c e iv e d request from a man for as sistance in getting property from his mother’s house. -M C SO re c e iv e d report o f a female driving a van with children on the outside o f the vehicle. The driving was warned. The reporter didn’t want to sign a citation. -MCSO received re port o f a cold burglary in Heppner. -M C SO re c e iv e d a report from a Heppner woman that she was trying to sell a car and a person try ing to buy it was a registered sex offender who only came by to look at the car when the kids were home alone. MCSO responded and sub ject said he would not go to that house again. -MCSO received re port o f an alarm at the Les Schwab store in Heppner. MCSO responded and the building was secure. -MCSO cited Daniel Val Carlile for a Driving W hile Suspended v io la tion. -MCSO deputy ad vised a male and female fishing at W illow C reek Park after dark. The subjects left. -B oardm an Police Department officer advised he was out with a suspicious vehicle on Tatone St. The driving was taking a nap. -B PD , B oardm an Ambulance received report o f a man having a hard time breathing at the Econo Lodge in Boardman. -BPD arrested Ru ben V illas-A rias, 38, on M.C. July 28: MCSO re sponded to assist Gilliam County Sheriff's Office with a possible road rage and shooting. The suspect’s ve hicle was stopped and OSP took over the call. -MCSO received a noise complaint concerning 10 intoxicated adults in a hot tub in Lexington. They were told to lower the noise level. -M C SO re c eiv e d report o f subjects breaking windows and throwing grass on Hwy. 730 in Irrigon. -M C SO re c eiv e d report o f five-six goats out in the road on Second St. and Main in Irrigon. All the goats were contained. -MCSO received re port of subjects standing on bikes, swerving in lanes at a high rate o f speed in 1-84 near Boardman. -M C S O , Irrig o n Ambulance, Boardman Am bulance received report o f a 33-year-old female subject who was groggy after taking cough medicine. -M .C. S h e riff ad vised of a theft that occurred near the Pepsi booth in Ir rigon. -MCSO received re port of onion trucks imped ing traffic on a highway in Washington. The call was connected to W ashington State Police. -M C S O d e p u ty w arned two subjects for placing yard signs on traf fic signs. -M C SO re c e iv e d report o f a woman drink ing beer possibly headed to U m atilla C ounty in a vehicle. -MCSO received a 911 call which was deter mined to be made by a child in Irrigon. There was no emergency. -M C SO re c e iv e d report o f a vehicle parked on Balm Fork Rd. in Hep pner in the lane o f traffic. Patrease Reshenda Struck- land, 27, was arrested on a Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office w arrant for DUII. She was also charged with providing false information to a police officer. Total bail was set at $16,000. -MCSO cited a 17- year-old juvenile for Viola tion o f the Basic Rule, 85 mph in a 55 mph zone, No Operator’s License, No In surance. -M C SO re c e iv e d report from a Boardman woman that her daughter and son-in-law were in a physical altercatio n and need the police. The Bea verton Police Department and W ashington C ounty Sheriff’s Office were noti fied and they responded. -M C SO re c e iv e d a report from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office of a 911 call with a female striking a juvenile female in Irrigon. MCSO responded. -BPD cited John Ju lius Pollentier for No Opera tor’s License. -BPD received re port from a Boardman resi dence of neighbors drinking. being loud and throw ing eggs at their house. -BPD made contact regarding the house that was egged and a minor in posses sion party. -BPD arrested Toni Lynn F in d lin g , 45, for knowingly using an invalid license. -Irrigon Fire Depart ment received o f a fire at A.C. Houghton Elementary School. The alarm was reset; there was no threat. Jul y 29: M C SO arrested W illiam G arrett Crane, 24, for two counts o f Assault IV. The Subject was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $12,000 bail. -M C S O a rre s te d Kimberly Dawn Parker, 23, for Assault IV with $6,000 bail. -MCSO received re port from an Irrigon subject that two male subjects at their residence would not leave. Deputy made contact and subjects left. -M C SO , H eppner Ambulance, Heppner Fire Department received report of a motor vehicle accident with a non-responsive male on Hwy. 74 near Heppner with a head wound and la bored breathing. The subject was transported to Pioneer Memorial Hospital. -MCSO received re port of a dark Ford Escort driving past the skate park in Irrigon possible intoxicated. All units were on emergency calls and no one was avail able to respond. -MCSO cited Rigo- berto A rellano Sandoval, 28 for Failure to Use Seat Belt. -MCSO received re port from an lone woman that it was the third time her vehicle had been broken into. The vehicle was in the shop and money was miss ing out o f it. -MCSO cited Robert Scott M artin for No O p erator’s License, Failure to Carry Proof o f Insurance. -MCSO received re quests from Irrigon and Um atilla subjects who wanted to press charges against the people who were fighting the previous night. -M C SO re c e iv e d report that a woman with bruises all over her has a male with her and cannot get away from him. The male was headed toward Lexing ton from Heppner. -MCSO received re quest for extra patrol in the lone area because o f people squealing tires, tearing up the town and loud music. -MCSO received re port of a vehicle in the circles on Baseline and Homestead roads getting gas. It was determined that the subjects were stealing as from River- Crest Farms. Joshua Kent, 20, was cited for Theft III, Criminal Trespass II. Jared Salisbury, 21, was cited for Criminal Trespass II. -M C S O re c e iv e d report of a subject driving “ like crazy’’ in a Mustang in lone. The subject was warned. -MCSO received a report from a 14-year-old in Irrigon that a male was forcing her to have sex with him. -MCSO received re port o f a domestic dispute in progress in Irrigon. It was a non-physical domestic cus tody issue. -MCSO served a H eppner Justice C ourt warrant to Terralinda Jean Hamilton, 42, for Failure to Appear/Driving While Sus pended. She was lodged at Multnomah County Jail on other warrants with $6,000 bail and a hold placed for the HJC warrant. ♦
