Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, June 27, 2007 - FIVE Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office reports han dling the following busi- June 5: (continued) -MCSO received a 911 hang up, the line was busy on call back. When dispatch finally got through it was stated that the subject had been having phone problems. -MCSO received a report o f a civil issue over the custody o f the child. -MCSO received a report o f a deer in a ditch with his hind legs broken. -BPD issued a cita tion to Salatiel Solis Chavez, 35, for Violating the Speed Limit by going 85 mph in a 65 mph zone. -BPD issued a cita tion to Russell Jenson Pap pas, 26, for Violating the Speed Limit by going 92 mph in a 65 mph zone. -BPD received a re port from OSP stating that d isp atch had received a report o f six combines and a couple o f pickups in the slow lane not moving with flashers on, reporter believes that one o f them might be disabled. Officer advised the vehicles were moving. -B P D a s s is te d Boardman Fire Department w ith an ADT report of a fire alarm at R iverside High June 6: -MCSO as sisted Irrigon Ambulance with a 55 year old male who breathing but unresponsive and very pale. While on the phone, the patient became alert and did not want the ambulance to respond. Re porter was informed that the ambulance was already on its way but the patient could refuse transport when it arrived. -MCSO deputy at tem pted to catch up to a vehicle that possibly left his dog at the North Shell station in Boardman. The vehicle was stopped but was determined not to be his dog. -MCSO received a report o f a possible drunk driver. MCSO was unable to locate the vehicle. -MCSO issued a ci tation to Daryn James Dunn, 30, for Failure to Use Seat- belt. -MCSO issued a ci tation to H eather Leigh Martuscelli, 35, for Driv ing While License Suspended Violation and Failure to Use Seatbelt. -MCSO received a report from a farm worker who had found a road closed with a bucket loader and ribbons diverting across a Held. The reporter stated that the power company w as out there working but did not believe they had anything to do with the road closure. -MCSO received a request for a welfare check for a female subject who had not shown up to places at appointed times. Subject was at home and fine, just not answering the phone. -MCSO issued a ci tation to Robert Anthony Brown, 58 for Failure to Use Seatbelt. -MCSO issued a ci tation to Willis Jay Schnell, 73, for Violating the Speed Limit by going 60 mph in a 35 mph zone. -MCSO received a report o f a tw o year old boy locked in a car in a car seat. -MCSO issued a ci tation to Kenneth Roger Kooek, 65, for Failure to Use Seatbelt. -MCSO received a com plaint o f bad checks being received. -MCSO received a com plaint o f the reporter trying to return a candle she had bought but the sub ject would not return her check. -MCSO received a report o f a debit card and license being stolen from the reporter’s vehicle. -MCSO received a complaint o f a horse on the reporter’s property. Reporter has had problems with this neighbor in the past. The horse was returned to the pasture by the horse ow ner. -MCSO and Board- man Fire D epartm ent re ceived a report o f a pickup on fire. -MCSO received a report o f a truck with smoke coming out o f its hood. It was determined to be a bad oil leak. -MCSO received a juvenile complaint o f a son that was being disobedient and was at the reporter's sister’s house and would not come home. DHS w ill make a family plan. -MCSO received a report from a couple who were moving into a home and expected problems from the owner's estranged hus band because she had leased the residence without his permission. -BPD issued a cita tion to Seth Thomas Brad- field, 22, for Violating the Speed Limit by going 87 mph in a 65 mph zone. -BPD issued a cita tion to Francisco Olguin Chavarria, 54, for Driving W hile Suspended V iola tion. The vehicle was im pounded. -Boardman Fire De partment received a report o f a vehicle w ith smoke coming from it. It was deter mined to be a blow n tire. -June 9, MCSO dep uty advised he was checking the Irrigon skate park and clearing it out if there was activity. -M C S O a rre s te d Frank Andrew Mackey, on an Irrigon Justice Court war rant for Failure to Appear/ Driving While Suspended, Possession of Cocaine and Supplying Contraband. He was also cited for Possession o f Less Than One Ounce of Marijuana. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail. -M C S O o rd e re d Richard Wayne Caroll, 37, to jail for three days for Parole Violation/Possession o f Meth. -MCSO deputy re ported that he was checking on a possible intoxicated subject in Heppner and ad vised him not to drive. -MCSO deputy re ported he was out with a group o f people in H ep pner who had advised him that they had a designated driver. -MCSO deputy ad vised he was out on foot at the Heppner City Park w ith a male subject and was go ing to walk around a while. -M C SO , BPD re ceived a report from an Ir rigon woman who said she was home alone while her husband was at work and heard someone tapping on her door several times. She asked who it was and no one answered. She requested a deputy. -MCSO deputy ad vised he was out with a ve hicle at the W.C. Reservoir.
