EIGHT - H eppner Gazette-Tim es, Heppner, Oregon W ednesday, March 2 1 ,2 0 0 7 PROPERTY WANTED Weather Report David Sykes Heal Estate recently received the following email from person looking for property. P ro p e rty d e s c rip tio n : C u rre n tly we ran c h in Wyoming and are planning to re lo c a te to N orth E a ste rn Oregon. Let me give you a little background on what we are looking for. Currently we own about a 460 AU ranch in WY. We direct market our range-fed beef and have a small “working ranch vacation" business in addition to our custom grazing business. We are looking to relocate to OR to possibly run sim ilar enterprises. We are interested in a smaller place with the potential of leasing/ m anaging area ranches for absentee landowners. If we are taken by a larger ranch we have the a b ility to w ork w ith partners. Here are some of the values we are looking at: 1) W ater rights and live water. 2) Good drinking water. 3) Deeded land. 4) Scenery, wildness, open space. 5) A c c e s sib ility w hile private and open. 6) Low fo ssil fuel operational requirements. 7) Secure mineral rights or little m ineral developm ent potential. We like the North Central/ N orth East part o f OR (P e n d le to n , La G rande, Enterprise, Heppner) generally the north side o f the Blue Mountains region. We are planning a trip to your part o f the country in April. If you know of any that fit our parameters please let me know. For the month of February Also have buyer looking for 700 + acres for hunting. He is selling property in another area and will do a 1031 soon. Have buyer interested in M ountain p roperty 160 or more contiguous acres for LOP tags.
